127 TopicsImmediate Discontinuation of Azure Passes
Important breaking news that has immediate impacts to TSPs delivering courses that currently use an Azure Pass. Effective immediately, Microsoft is discontinuing the use of Azure passes and recalling any Azure Passes in use by students and trainers. Why is Microsoft removing the Azure Pass option? As a part of the commitment to provide the best possible learner experience, Microsoft was in the process of moving away from using Azure passes to provide cloud access to course labs. The lab experience via the Lab Hosters (LH) removes friction for learners (i.e. activation and support considerations) and provides a more uniform training experience for our learners regardless of their location. Recently, Microsoft has experienced a significant increase in potential fraud and unintended use of Azure services, resulting in the immediate discontinuation of Azure Passes. Which courses are impacted by the discontinuation of the Azure Pass? The following course will not have labs available until end of January: SC-200T00: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Lab Hosters are working quickly to convert the following courses to non-Azure Pass. Please consult directly with your Lab Hoster to find out the status of what they have available. AZ-2001: Implement Security Through a Pipeline Using Azure DevOps AZ-2008: DevOps Foundations: The Core Principles and Practices AZ-400T00: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps solutions SC-300T00: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator All localized versions of labs for these courses are offline. An ETA on when they will be available will be provided at a later date. Please consult with your Authorized Lab Hosters to see if your delivery will be impacted as a result of not having Azure passes. Additional information can be found in the attached FAQ. DanAre the AZ-800 and AZ-801 courses now based on Windows Server 2025?
Hello, I would like to know if the AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure and AZ-801: Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services certification courses and exams now include content based on Windows Server 2025, or if they are still focused on Windows Server 2022. I would also like to know if there are any official plans to update these courses and exams to the new version of the operating system. I appreciate any official information or insights from those who have recently taken these courses. Thank you!SolvedAccess to Learning Resource page request
Hi there, I am MCT and would like access to the Learning Resource page so that I can create course URLs and such. What is needed to gain access? Can I use my Microsoft Account associated with my MCT credentials to gain access or is a business email address needed? ThanksSolvedShould DP203 be retired considering the lab constraints with its replacement course (DP700)
Hi Mindy, Considering that DP203 is due to retire end of March, would it not be better to extend the retirement date due to the impact that we have with most of the DP6xx and DP700 labs. Those courses cannot be trained until the lab matter has been resolved and at the moment, we have no visibility as to when this could be resolved by. The DP203 at least allows us to engage with customers and refer to as a replacement for Fabric until the lab issues have been addressed by Microsoft. In some scenarios like ESI, we have a deadline by when the deliveries need to happen which is beyond end of March but before May. Regards MorneSC-200 Lab Solution Currently Unavailable
Note: I have deleted the post from Jan 27 titled: SC-200 Lab Solution Available; Still Waiting on AZ-400 from the forum to prevent confusion around availability. I will update again when this situation is resolved. New update for Jan 31, 2025: Hi all, All Azure Passes were stopped in early December. We announced on Jan 27 that a lab solution for SC-200 was available. This is no longer a true statement. Our content team is working diligently to update the content and resubmit to the lab hosters ASAP. I do not yet have a timeline on the availability of SC-200, or the AZ-400 solution we've been seeking. I will update again next week with a progress report.DP-100 and DP-600 - Unable to request Achievement Codes
Hi, I am not sure if this is the correct forum to report an issue with the Learn site. Note that it is currently not possible to request achievement codes from the DP-100 or DP-600 course pages at https://learn.microsoft.com/training/courses/dp-100t01 https://learn.microsoft.com/training/courses/dp-600t00 The error message is: "We could not create your code at this time. Please try again." >> Technical details: Since last week, for these two courses, the unique course ID used in the Learn Catalog API has changed - from lowercase (course.dp-100t01/course.dp-600t00) to uppercase (course.DP-100T01/course.DP-600T00). That could be related to this issue. Thanks, Ronald BeekelaarSolvedAction Pack or Learning Action Pack
Hi We are a training company who recently became a Microsoft partner and we are trying to decide whether to purchase an Action Pack or a Learning Action Pack. We would like to explore training Power BI courses. Therefore we need an access to software and also materials. It would also be beneficial if we could provide exams or exams vouchers to our learners (if we understand correctly we can give learners vouchers, like PL-300 and they can take exams online with Microsoft?). I've searched and found the following - "A Microsoft Action Pack provides a set of resources for partners to familiarize themselves with Microsoft technologies and build solutions, while a Learning Action Pack is specifically designed for partners who want to focus on delivering Microsoft training services." It seems to me that a Learning Action Pack gives access to coursewares, whilst Action Pack gives access to software. Is my understanding correct? Does this mean we need to purchase both? Could you please clarify what would be the best option for us? Many thanks, Sue.SolvedApplied Skills & ARB Guidance Document - Partner Feedback Requested
Hello TSPs, One of the recurring pieces of feedback we get are questions regarding the relationship between Applied Skills and Advanced Role-based (ARB) courseware. In October, we released a document titled Applied Skills and ARB Certs Suggested Guidance which aims to bridge that knowledge gap between the products. We'd like to get your input on the usefulness of that document and what ways we can alter and improve it (or create others) to best suit your needs. Please take a moment to complete this feedback survey. The survey includes both scale and free-form questions, and all results will go directly to the product team. You'll also find the document linked in the header of the survey for easy access. Thank you in advance for your time.
