Hello, I have two questions related to the bookings published page URL. 1. I changed my business name and the bookings URL is still showing the old/original business name. Is there a way to update this? 2. Is there a way to create separate Bookings URLs for each staff member? Currently we have a business page set up and services with available staff. For our business use, we would like to be able to share links that would take customers to a specific staff members bookings page. Thank You, Leslie Johnson41KViews0likes15CommentsIntegration of MS Forms and Bookings
I am struggling to find a way to make a customer request work. They wish to have a student book a service at a specific date and time. They also want the student to complete a questionnaire simultaneously. The answer to these questions should populate a spreadsheet for the staff to review alongside the booking date/time. We want all this to happen at once, with one form or booking page. The only way I can figure out to do it is to add a Form to a Booking, but it doesn't include the form on the booking page or even as a follow up after it is booked. A staff member has to assign the form to the booking, which can easily be overlooked by the client. Adding the questionnaire as custom fields on the Booking page will also not auto-populate a spreadsheet. I'm stuck in a place where I can almost achieve a goal, but entirely. I'm always missing one important item. I'm at my wit's end.15KViews3likes4CommentsBookings custom URL feature
Is there a way to create Bookings links dedicated to certain individuals? For example I work for a school in the IT department and we use bookings for appointments. Currently we are having a small issue where some users when scheduling a time to resolve their tickets are choosing another technician. Is there a way to make links per technician so if I send a link to a user I am the only choice for them? Without creating individual Bookings calendars that is.9.1KViews1like3CommentsHow to allow customers to book one or more timeslots at once?
I really need the ability for my customers to be able to either set the timeslot themself. ie: 09.00 to 09:45 or atleast let the customers book several times at once. how can i do this? now my customers can only book one times. sometimes they need to book 30min, sometimes they need to book 120min. sometimes they need to book 10min and sometimes they need to book a full day. how?8.1KViews2likes8CommentsBookings limits and restrictions
Is there a web page that clearly outlines limitations and restrictions in Bookings? Things like "number of booking calendars a user can create", "number of staff per calendar", etc.? We have a user who's created 3 calendars but is unable to create additional ones in our tenant. They have an "A5 for faculty" license.7.5KViews0likes3CommentsBooking multiple services at same time
I have a client that wants to use Bookings to book a space on our university campus. They'd like to be able to book multiple services for one space at the same time, i.e. one student can book the space for service 1 at 3pm, and another student can book the same space for service 2 at 3pm. However, once the first service is booked, no other services are allowed for that time because it is associated with the account's user. This makes sense because Bookings is designed to book time with a person, not a space, but my client is hoping to adapt Bookings for this use. Is there a work around that I'm not aware of? Unchecking "Events on Office calendar affect availability" from the staff page does not solve the issue.7.3KViews2likes2CommentsUsing Bookings to setup a Secondary School Parent-Teacher Schedule
Hello all, I've setup a "Bookings" to handle our Parent-Teacher night (2000 students, 125 teachers, up to 5000 parents and guardians) will be booking. I've done a 20 person test and Bookings seems up to the task but I wish...(isn't there always an I wish...?) I could adjust the 5/10 min appointment window to be 7 or 8 or whatever I choose... I could import all the teachers as staff (csv is ok) with a default business schedule I could restrict parent (customer) booking to non-continuous (forcing a break) and max number per day These are actually just tweeks to perfect the system. I think it will work great. Anyone have any experience with the situation?5.4KViews1like7CommentsForce bookings start time to be on the hour, always
I am trying to set up an appointment service. Our appointments are 50 minutes long, to give us time to write up after and the student time to get to their lectures etc. People in our org also regularly schedule 50 min meetings that aren't through bookings. I have set it so that they start at 1 hour intervals, and have a 10 minute buffer after. This works fine most of the time. However, if I am available 10:00-14:00 on a Tuesday, and have an existing meeting in my calendar from 10:00-10:50, then the appointments show on bookings at 10:50, 11:50 and 12:50 for that day. This really doesn't work for our or the student's availability. Other than going through and manually adding a 10 minute appointment in my calendar at the end of any meeting, which isn't really feasible due to how busy we are, is there any way to force bookings to start "on the hour" every time, or another workaround others can think of? (I thought of moving the buffer to the beginning, which might help for the 50 min example, however if I had a meeting in from 9:30-10:30, appointments would then just go at 10:40, 11:40, etc) Thanks in advance for any suggestions4.7KViews1like7CommentsBooking Service, with Custom Scheduling not working
Hi All, Pretty new to MS Booking so apologies if I'm simply missing something simple. I have a Booking set up with a single Service. Although I have set a Default Scheduling Policy on the Booking Page, and Business Hours on the Business Information page, I'm not particularly interested in their settings as I'm setting a custom Scheduling Policy for my specific service (I was led to believe that this was the case from tutorials I have followed i.e. setting a custom Service Policy overrides everything else). My service is designed to be available for one day only, with time slots that fall outside of the normal business hours / default scheduling. To support this, I have set the [Service Availability] to "Not bookable", and then used the "+ Set different availability for a date range" to add in one specific date, and then set the custom times for that day: However, when I add staff to my service, no availability is showing unless I also customise their individual hours: This seems to happen regardless of the [Use business hours] toggle. While this works, it is less than ideal as I will have to do this for some 40 staff, and then change it if/when my Service date / day changes. Can anyone advise Many thanksSolved3.7KViews0likes2Comments
