Bing ChatGPT interface issue: Chat window opening in sidebar instead of full screen mode
Hello friends, Till yesterday if I was clicking on Bing chat logo it was taking me to a full screen chat i.e., in a new tab, but today it is just opening in the right side of browser (at sidebar as seen in screenshot). And I feel that it is not proper space for conversation/chat, I want to chat in full screen mode instead of this sidebar so please help me and provide any solution to me so that I can run Bing ChatGPT in full screen mode (in a separate tab). Full Screen not working correctly with Power BI app
I have attempted a few times recently to use full screen to display dashboards created in the Power BI app on the Teams desktop client. Entering full screen mode works perfectly, but once in full screen, there is no option available to leave this mode. Hitting the Esc key will shrink the window to show the Taskbar, but the window will remain borderless and it will be entirely filled by the dashboard. This leaves me unable to leave the Power BI dashboard and go back to view chats, teams, my calendar, etc. The only way I've found to get back to view other areas is to right-click on the teams tab in my Taskbar and click "New Chat," which will take me back to view all of my chats as normal. Other people at my company trying to view the same dashboards are having the same issue. This doesn't feel like something that was intended, but I can't find any information on this issue or how to resolve it anywhere. Am I just missing the button to leave full screen somewhere? If anyone knows of an intended way to change the view back to windowed correctly, it would be greatly appreciated.
Cannot activate full-screen mode anymore since Teams v1.3.00.21759
Since Teams version 1.3.00.21759, the chat window was completely redesigned (buttons are now in the upper area, before, they were in the bottom area). Since this change, I cannot do full-screen anymore when someone does screen sharing in a chat. Depending of the resolution of the sending and receiving monitor, this can result in quite ugly deformed text, sometimes nearly unreadable, so I prefer to have full screen to have least possible interpolation of the screen image. Did I miss something? Attached screenshots of the two versions (was the same test session btw.). teams-old shows a real full screen (1:1 or edge to edge), while teams-new shows has the useless bars on top and bottom and uses only 83% per dimension for the session PS: There was a documented hotkey in the past version for full screen which never worked. but at least it was possible to activate from the menu (now not anymore). Now if you go to full screen mode, by either pressing F11 on keyboard or this button you will see the tabs and address bar in a drop down fashion, just like in Edge classic. to do that, first you have to be on the latest version of Edge insider Canary which is Version 80.0.335.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) then you have to go to: edge://flags/ and enable this flag Enable Fullscreen Dropdown Drops down browser frame during browser fullscreen. – Windows #edge-enable-shy-ui That's it. it was requested multiple times on the forum and I was looking for this functionality as well. Google chrome (even the latest canary version) still doesn't have this useful functionality.
