Calendar time vs Buffer time
I like the idea of "Buffer time your customers can't book". I like to give myself 15 minutes between appointments to go to the bathroom, check email, jot down notes from the previous meeting, drive to the next appointment, etc. However, when this option is turned on, the calendar entry shows the booked start time 15 minutes before when the customer actually booked. I either show up or call the customer 15 minutes before they are expecting me - bad form! My calendar should show the exact time the customer booked the appointment, not the time minus the buffered time.
Auto-select first date OR Show only available dates of Service
Allow Customization of the Booking Page View: Month Overview vs. Available Dates. Add an option to allows to "Jump to first date" or "Show only available dates for the service". Instead of the month version, show only available dates for the respective service, ie in a table view (i.e. if the service has less than 10 dates available). Especially for single-date events it would be great to let the system automatically jump to the according date instead of requiring the user to scroll through the months on the booking page's calendar. Open booking calendar with first/next available slot or specific date
Today, the calendar on the booking page of a service shows the current month. Would be great to have the possibility to force the calendar to show the month or select the day with the first/next available slot. Alternatively, allow pre-selection of specific dates either by config or URI parameters of the service booking page.
Allow color coding for different services on Booking page
My team would find it beneficial to be able to set separate shading colors for different Services on our booking site to allow our end-user community to find the training session type they are looking for. For instance, single-user/small group sessions are shaded light blue, and large group sessions (eg:100+ users) be dark blue. This way at a glance on the landing page users could session type they are looking for at a glance when organizations have dozens or more Services offered.Block a Customer From Booking Appointments
We have a need to have the ability to block a customer from booking future appointments. The ideal functionality would be to have a checkbox on the customer record that can either be checked or unchecked allowing/blocking the customer from booking future appointments.
Require Multiple Staff Be Available
We are trying to use Bookings for user research. We want to make sure that each appointment has a product, UX, and dev representation. In our case, we are setting up services that relate to each scrum team, and then assigning members of those teams as staff to the services. However, if any of those listed are available, it shows as an option for customers. I'd like to only show customers available times when all staff members (or perhaps a subset) are available.
Allow using parameters in url to populate MS Booking
Myself and many of my clients would benefit from the ability to add parameters to a url to prepopulate fields in an MS Booking. This is incredibly beneficial and I hope this is not too tricky. It would be great for custom fields as well but at least for standard ones 🙂
