I like the idea of "Buffer time your customers can't book". I like to give myself 15 minutes between appointments to go to the bathroom, check email, jot down notes from the previous meeting, drive to the next appointment, etc. However, when this option is turned on, the calendar entry shows the booked start time 15 minutes before when the customer actually booked. I either show up or call the customer 15 minutes before they are expecting me - bad form! My calendar should show the exact time the customer booked the appointment, not the time minus the buffered time.4.7KViews38likes19CommentsOption to remove "change or cancel appointment" for a service
There may be some cases where we do not want our customers to be able to reschedule a booking. Currently there is no way to remove the "change booking" and "cancel booking" from a) the booking confirmation page and b) the confirmation email (where there is the link to change the booking). It would be great if there was an option to remove the possibility for customers to change or cancel their appointment and have it show up without those buttons (in the same way that it shows when as an admin I manually book an appointment for them). This is especially important since there is a bug: if I give customers access to a specific service ONLY, they can of course only book an appointment for that service. Once they have booked, if they press on "cancel booking" they can see ALL THE SERVICES, and book a slot for any of them (which of course we do not want them to be able to do)2.8KViews20likes2CommentsAllow color coding for different services on Booking page
My team would find it beneficial to be able to set separate shading colors for different Services on our booking site to allow our end-user community to find the training session type they are looking for. For instance, single-user/small group sessions are shaded light blue, and large group sessions (eg:100+ users) be dark blue. This way at a glance on the landing page users could session type they are looking for at a glance when organizations have dozens or more Services offered.1.9KViews25likes3CommentsCustomize text in pop-up confirmation messages on client side booking
When clients book, reschedule, or cancel, an appointment they see a confirmation pop-up message (see images attached). This is nothing to do with the email confirmations set up for each service, this is just a web browser pop-up box that is part of the process of using the client side bookings webpage. Would be great to be able to customize the text in these pop-up messages. If this is already possible please let me know how to do it. Some examples: "Thank you for booking with us!" is inappropriate for me as there is no "us", just me. A shorter "Thank you for booking." would be universally appropriate. "We'll send you..." doesn't work when there is no "we", just me. The "You'll get..." is a more versatile option but is not used consistently across the three default confirmation pop-ups. This may just be personal preference but a short and sweet "You'll get confirmation by email" is easier to understand and better UX than the default "You will get a confirmation message in email shortly". Maybe this is a step too far but wouldn't it be great if the tone of these messages match the business? A casual, chirpy "All done!" will work for some but not others. I'm ashamed that my business is presenting this default text to clients - it clashes with the impression I like to present.1.9KViews15likes3CommentsAbility to Enforce Naming conventions
When you create a booking calendar it does two things: Creates a user in AzureAD Ties a mailbox in Exchange Online to this mailbox Now we cannot enforce any naming conventions on these it seems so what happens if I name my calendar something like Joe.Bloggs. This will potentially cause confusion and also prevent the use of that user. Reporting becomes difficult too. If we as admins could enforce a prefix for the names or the like this would be beneficial. I see mention of the admin toolkit here but I can't see it on the O365 road-map or the like for delivery.1.8KViews6likes3CommentsAdd additional attendees to booking
I would like to add additional attendees to a meeting. I have meetings with only one client at a time, and sometimes that client brings their spouse or a friend. I want all attendees to receive the invite and reminders. If I increase the maximum number of attendees to 2, then 2 unrelated attendees could book the same time slot (which would be double booked). As it stands currently, I can only add one attendee per time slot and a separate invite has to be manually sent out for the additional attendees. Another use case would be adding additional staff to the meeting. Thanks!1.8KViews17likes6CommentsOpen booking calendar with first/next available slot or specific date
Today, the calendar on the booking page of a service shows the current month. Would be great to have the possibility to force the calendar to show the month or select the day with the first/next available slot. Alternatively, allow pre-selection of specific dates either by config or URI parameters of the service booking page.1.8KViews25likes3CommentsSet email automatically for Bookings configured to be accessed only by people in our organization
Hi all, We have a booking calendar set to be only accessed through people in our organization. Making some test, we have realized that once I'm logged into MS Bookings, I am able to make an appointment with any email (including other members emails) making possible to block a buddy calendar making several appointments if I want. We need to avoid this scenario to start using MS Bookings. There are any way to set automatically the email in the appointment without the need of write it manually? Best regards Luis1.7KViews17likes6CommentsAllow using parameters in url to populate MS Booking
Myself and many of my clients would benefit from the ability to add parameters to a url to prepopulate fields in an MS Booking. This is incredibly beneficial and I hope this is not too tricky. It would be great for custom fields as well but at least for standard ones 🙂1.6KViews20likes3Comments
