116 TopicsDisconnect Microsoft Teams calendar from Outlook calendar
I work with a group of 170 students and recently began using the calendar feature as a way to publish events for the group. Some of these events are applicable to all members. Some events are applicable to some members. I am now seeing all of these events on my outlook calendar, and I am sure our group is too. Is there a way to disconnect this Teams calendar from Outlook calendars?26KViews0likes4CommentsEdit Recorded Teams Meeting
Hi All, Since all recorded Teams meetings are now stored in a "Recordings" folder in SharePoint, we can no longer edit the video in Stream without downloading to our computer and uploading into Stream. Once we are done editing the recorded meeting, we then have to download the edited meeting to our computer and upload into the Teams SharePoint site. This process is more than some of my non-technical users can handle. Is there a process that my Faculty can edit the video from SharePoint directly? Or possibly an easier method of editing the recording? Thanks for your input Che15KViews2likes1Comment'We're having trouble updating your team. Please try again later.' when trying to update team avatar
Hello there, I've been trying to update my team's avatars to make them more easily identifiable for a couple of months now but persistently receive this message when I try in-app or online: We're having trouble updating your team. Please try again later. I've tried on different networks/ devices and nothing seems to make a difference. Any help would be hugely appreciated!10KViews0likes12Commentscan't join a team even with the right code
I asked my teacher to give me the right code cause for some reason, the code she gave me didn't work. When she gave me the Teams code, it is the exact same code I used last night. I was confused and tried the code multiple times and it still didn't work. I ask some of my classmates about this and they said their code worked fine. I am really confused about this situation especially since I learned that this issue has been going on for some times now. Is there any way to fix this?7.2KViews0likes1CommentTeams: Student can not edit a returned assignment.
Good morning, When a teacher returns an assignment, my daughter will open the returned assignment, attempt to edit it, but will receive an error message at the top in yellow "Can't upload - Something's wrong and your changes can't be uploaded". It then offers to "save a copy" or "dismiss". This error happens even when she turns in an assignment and needs to "undo" the turn in. The assignment will no longer upload the changes/save them. We have uninstalled/reinstalled teams. We have logged out and back in. We have waited a few days to see if it just needs time to load properly. Having the "auto-save" feature "on" or "off" makes no difference as we have tried both ways. We have tried to manually "save as" with the same document name in order to "replace" the original file. The changes will not save and upload. We have resorted to "saving a copy", renaming it, and uploading it as an additional assignment turned in for the "My Work" section. This is difficult for her teachers though, because they are never sure which document to grade and takes more time to review. This has also been an incredibly difficult process for my daughter as she would do all of her work only for it to be lost due to the changes not being saved. When an assignment is initially assigned, she can edit it and turn it in. The error only happens if she "undoes" the turn in or if a teacher returns the assignment to be fixed. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.6.4KViews0likes3CommentsAdding members to private channel teams by mailing group
last year I created a Class Team for the whole grade and created private channels in it. I added each class in a private channel by a mailing group. When I tried to do this now it doesn't work. I can only add each student individually to the private channel not the whole mailing group of the class. Note: There were no problem when I used the same mailing groups to add the same students to the Class Team as members.MS Teams Screen Freezes when Screenshare
Hello, I am a student and recently got a new laptop with Window's 11. My School uses MS Teams for our online lectures. I have no issues accessing logging on to the meeting, however when anyone presents their screen, the screen on my end freezes. No other students in the meeting have this issue, and audio is still live. Team's itself is still running (its doesn't crash, I can still see the comments, etc.), just the screen where my professor is presenting content is completely frozen. I've restarted and ended the program on task manager and no luck. Are there any current work arounds? I have seen some similar issues on forums.3.3KViews0likes1Comment
