Dear all Since Update to Teams 1.6.00.18681, starting a call from Outlook contact card to a phone number is no longer working. Presence is visible, which indicates Teams Presence Plugin, which is handling these requests, is in general working. Making calls to a SIP address of a contact (IM address) is still working, only calls to phone numbers are broken. After clicking to link with phone number under "Work phone" nothing happens. This worked before. User is fully enabled for Teams Telephony. Does someone else mentioned this issue and found a solution to make it work again? The new "Share to TEAMS" is showing up for our users, and it is a great feature, but there are serious problems with the search within the app. We are able to search for users with no issue, but searching for a group or channel is rarely successful. I would guestimate that only 25% of my channels show up in the search. I have already verified that channels don't show up even if I am an owner of the group. And there is no way to search for a "General" channel. There are no results for us. Is this a problem with our environment, or a known issue with the feature? On a side note, I've always had trouble sharing thing from my phone to Teams if I'm looking for a "General" channel.25KViews3likes37CommentsTeams meeting info in "Create a Meeting" from Outlook on Mac
I'm currently using M365 via a new Macbook, and it is generally working well. However when I set a meeting with the "Create a Meeting" button with an email, it sends the Teams dial in info to the bottom of what may often be a long email chain. This makes it hard for recipients (particularly of the non-technical type) to find the connection details of the meeting just set up. Is there any way of setting Outlook (or Teams) so that the meeting info goes to the top of the invitation just sent? Many thanks.Solved5.1KViews2likes8CommentsMS teams calendar not showing multiple calendars on my outlook (Microsoft 365)
I have set up Outlook calendar to show a number of calendars. For example one is my personal work calendar and the other is a calendar for group meetings, even those I am not participating in. I also have a holidays calendar. However, in my Teams desktop app I can only see appointments in my personal calendar. I cant see other calendars. Is there a way to make Teams display the other calendars just like Outlook?2.1KViews1like1CommentOutlook share on vs share in Teams.
Hi, I have two options in my Oulook to share email to Teams. Share on Teams (maybe share To in English) Share in Teams. One is working, one is not: The blue Icon (Share in Teams) Works perfect The White Icon ask me to sign into my account (same account as Outlook) And I do. But still error. What is the difference between the 2 options. And how do I get around the error with account in Teams? Dear all, My new institution has a webmail based email service, and they also have access to Office 365 including Teams. I have managed, after quite the ordeal, to add my webmail email address to the Outlook desktop app for windows 10 (as far as I understand, this linking cannot be done for the web-based outlook anymore). I can now manage my webmail email address through the Outlook app. My Teams account is registered with the same email address, however I cannot get the Outlook calendar to sync with the teams calendar. For example, I can create a Teams meeting in teams, but this one won't appear in my Outlook calendar, and I can create a Teams meeting with the Teams-add-in from Outlook, but it won't appear in my Teams calendar. What am I missing here? Just for completeness, I've been creating meetings with only me as an attendant, for testing. EDIT: I forgot to mention that my web-based Outlook calendar does sync with my Teams calendar. That is, if I create a meeting in the web-based Outlook calendar it does appear in my Teams calendar, and viceversa works also. Thanks in advance.Solved13KViews1like3CommentsTeams email fwding: Access to Sharepoint is denied
I'm getting the above outlook response from fwding an email to a Team email address. Persists whether or not there is an attachment and between teams in the group. Any help is appreciated! Basically today if I want to create a meeting linked to a Teams' channel, I need to do it exclusively on Teams. The option "Add channel" is only available inside Teams. The problem with it is that Teams's meeting organizer doesn't have the same formatting tools, almost none of the best tools, and isn't as user friendly as Outlook. Thanks for the support.Solved7.1KViews1like1Comment
