Is there a way in MS Teams to change or 'try on' different backgrounds before or without starting a new meeting? I have been able to upload backgrounds and test them during conference calls, but have not been able to view them outside of meetings.Solved1.1MViews12likes39CommentsNot able to see Background Effects in Microsoft Teams

When I set up a new team or a channel under a team, I noticed that I have to add each name one at a time. It's really tedious, and it seems like an easy add just to cut and paste a bunch of emails from a spreadsheet into this (you can do this in outlook to send to a large distro). Why are bulk adds in teams so difficult?Solved427KViews7likes28CommentsWe couldn't schedule the meeting. Please try again later
Hi, One of my coworkers keeps getting the following error when trying to schedule a Teams meeting in outlook: "We couldn't schedule the meeting. Please try again later." I'm aware there are a lot of posts about this allready, but none of them gave me a solution for my problem. He's signed in to the same account in teams as his office account selected in the outlook settings. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!Solved280KViews1like36CommentsTeams calls disconnects / dropped / terminated when users are logged into multiple devices
Hi everyone, [Edit : see my response below, we don't think this is due to different versions, but due to a user being logged into teams on multiple devices] What I think we're seeing is a difference in teams desktop client versions causing calls to be dropped or terminated. The scenario Bob has Teams desktop app version 1.3.00.9267 Sally has Teams desktop app version 1.3.00.8663 When Sally calls Bob (8663 to 9267) then Bob answers the call and the call connects, and they can talk. BUT When Bob calls Sally (9267 to 8663) then Sally answers the call immediately drops Bob sees "sally ended the call" and Sally sees "Bob ended the call" , and they can't connect. Meeting invites work for both parties, and in some cases trying several times seems to allow the call to connect (still investigating this). Is anyone else seeing this ? The AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\logs.txt exists but I don't know how to interpretSolved267KViews2likes23CommentsMicrosoft Teams Notification Sounds - Can't turn off???
I work at a rather large organization and we just switched to using Microsoft Teams. So far it has been great but what is driving me nuts is the Notification for new messages. I can't find it anywhere to turn this annoying sound off. When you have several coworkers all messaging you, I can't even wear headphones anymore it's gotten so bad. And you can't even turn it off? My options are, "Call, Mention, and Chat" , "All", "Off" How is these not separated? I would like it to be able to ring for calls but I don't need a BEEP every time someone messages me since I already get a banner and a flashing name. Please let me know if I am missing a setting somewhere.Solved232KViews38likes42CommentsForgot to end recording before leaving the call
I got a very embarrassing problem here.... I just hosted a 90min call on Teams including a recording of said call. At the end got hasty, having to join another call - and left the meeting before ending the recording. Now, all I see is the chat entry of that call that recording has started and a few lines later, it say meeting has ended. Please, can anyone tell me how to retrieve my recording ?!Solved228KViews1like10CommentsYou don't have access to this org in Teams.Select another org, or contcat your admin
