verification
67 TopicsPartner verification is totally broken & not fit for purpose.
The entire system is an utter shambles. Just look at the number of posts form partners worldwide who have been partners for years yet now can no longer get verified. I too have been a partner for over 20 years and I've been trying since October last year to get these issues fixed. Wasn't an issue until I signed up to the CSP program. I truly wish I hadn't bothered. I have been round and round and round. I have submitted every document under the sun. Articles of Incorporation, Certificate of Incorporation, Letter on headed paper, DUNS certificate, Bank Statements. I just constantly get back that "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I raise support tickets, I email, they don't read them properly, they just send a standard response back. You reply to the response email and then get an email back saying "Deleted Not Read" so they are clearly ignoring anyone's responses to their meaningless emails. The portal doesn't work properly, it displays conflicting information. The Fix Now buttons don't work. I get an email stating my CSP is verified but my MPN ID isn't. Then I check on the portal and it says both are unverified. So how can they send an email saying its verified and then the portal says it isn't? I email and ask, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I ask them on email please be clear about what they want changing, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" They are like particularly dim robots. They haven't a clue, and they don't care. This is what happens when you outsource. Microsoft are happy to take your money but it seems they no longer want to have their small business partners. Why don't they just own up and say rather than getting rid of us all by wearing us down by this method? If they cared they would engage properly and have someone from the Team involved in this forum rather than poor Jill who is not part of the verification team and has to field all these postings. I am utterly tired of the whole thing and seriously just considering ditching the entire partner program. Who needs the constant stress and mental anguish!Solved1.9KViews10likes17CommentsEmployment verification failed - Fix Now - Not Working
Fix Now button does nothing, or at least not as pictured in your own guide article. Account Verification side-screen is NOT showing up after clicking on the Fix Now button, as depicted the image in your own article. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/verification-responses Fix Now button just restarts the process of verification, which fails constantly, without specifying what is wrong. This is an issue that needs to be resolved by Microsoft, there are multiple such reports.662Views4likes13CommentsEmployment verification and support tickets
We have problems with Employment verification. I think we did everything we found on blogs and even what I got back in two emails from Microsoft, which are the same, it looks like copy and paste. The funny thing is that they tell me that I have to use an email that is not info, sales, marketing for the contact email and they write me to my personal email email address removed for privacy reasons When I want to upload another support ticket they tell me that I can't upload another ticket for the same topic, that I have to provide more information in the one I already have open. When I want to open it I get an error and it tells me that it is not possible to get the ticket data. This is unbelievable, with Android and Apple we didn't have even half of the problems we are having with Microsoft. It's quite frustrating. Grateful if anyone can help us.Issues with Account Verification and Revoked Partner Status
Hello everyone, Since July 30th, I have been struggling to resolve an issue with account verification in Microsoft Partner Center and to restore my partner status. Here's a summary of the problem: In April, I successfully completed the verification process by submitting all the required documents to confirm my domain ownership. The documents met all the criteria, including the 12-month validity requirement. On July 30th, my developer status was revoked without any explanation. I have requested clarification several times, but each time I only received requests to resubmit the same documents I had already provided. I resubmitted the documents on August 8th, but I still haven't received any constructive response, just automated messages. Recently, I received a message saying that several attempts to verify my information were unsuccessful, and the process was closed. This could result in my relationship with Microsoft being terminated within 30 days. My team has spent a year learning the Graph API and developing our Outlook application, and now it seems we won’t be able to publish it due to unclear verification issues. Could someone please advise if there is a way to expedite the resolution of this problem? I have submitted all the required documents and met the necessary criteria, yet I continue to face rejections. Here are my support ticket numbers for reference: 2404250040003907 2409030040003632 2408210040001904 2409060040005012 I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on how to proceed. Thank you!Solved1.6KViews4likes25CommentsOngoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
Hello I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed. This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution. What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way. Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.580Views3likes26CommentsEmployment verification problem
The "Fix Now" button is not functioning as intended, or at least not as demonstrated in the guide provided in your documentation. The side-screen for Account Verification does not appear after clicking the "Fix Now" button, contrary to the example shown in the article at this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/verification-responses. Instead, the "Fix Now" button merely restarts the verification process, which repeatedly fails without offering any specific details about the issue. This is a persistent problem that requires Microsoft's attention, as there have been numerous similar reports. If i do not fix this i will lose my subscription. I've already opened the ticket.134Views3likes5CommentsVerification for partner very difficult, no response from support at all
Hi, I'm an MSP, trying to get verified on Microsofts programs, to be able to support and supply my users through distributors. Unfortunately, this is where it ends, I did everything Microsoft asked me: Sign up as a partner Filled in the details Received a rejection, was asked to supply domain verification, supplied this Then now am denied as followed: "Your verification is rejected because of usage of restricted domain. Please update your email in Profile Info section with company domain address to get it verified." So, first I had to supply domain details, then, after this, now you're still rejecting this based on what? No proper feedback, neither is anyone replying to the tickets I've opened relating to this. Ticket #s: 2307250040004588 2307270040001544 2308050040001621 So, the deal is as followed: I'm registered as Dyk Media, and I do business as DykIT. So, my registration is showing Dyk Media in the CRO here in Ireland, and this is what I have explained in the documentation provided.. + I provided utility bill, but, again this is denied without any option to talk to someone, nor, being able to understand the denial. Why doesn't anyone read ticket, or, read the attached documentation. This is so frustrating, it almost makes you not want to deliver any MS products, and being able to supply users/companies, with the right support structures as an MSP. Mike ---- UPDATE: As my company name was slightly different, this was the cause of it not being accepted. Since adjusting this correctly, I resubmitted it, and it's now accepted and approved. I think this is beneficial information for others, as it really has to match up everything that is within your registered details.2.7KViews3likes12CommentsI've changed my company name and now I can't get verified in the Microsoft Partner Centre
Hi, I recently changed my company name in the profile for my Microsoft Partner Centre and now my account is stuck at Employment verification stage. No matter what documents I provide as proof of domain ownership, the bot just keeps asking for proof, and now I can't renew my Action pack membership. This is causing me great pain, as others too by the posts I've seen in the forum. Can this please be fixed as there is no easy way to contact Microsoft Support to get this sorted.Microsoft Partner Center - Employment Verification failure
Starting in July 2024, like hundreds of others here, I have been trying to pass the verification process within the Microsoft Partner Center (after joining ID@Xbox). Our company is based outside the U.S., but we have a D-U-N-S number registered. I have provided a domain purchase receipt, WHOIS lookup records, and even changed emails and phone numbers everywhere to ensure consistency across all platforms. Despite eliminating any discrepancies, I still haven't been able to pass this step. I’m not sure how the process worked before, but I believe we are facing these complications due to the new EU rules and regulations being communicated via the Partner Center profile and emails. I have reviewed these regulations. These rules refer to compliance requirements under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), which imposes specific obligations on online platforms, including game developers, to enhance transparency and accountability. The key provisions relevant to this situation include: Trader Information Disclosure: Articles 30 and 31 of the DSA mandate that platforms verify and display trader contact information. This includes providing an address, phone number, and email address on your product’s detail page to ensure consumers have access to clear and accurate information about the entities behind digital products and services. Business Verification: The DSA requires platforms to implement measures to verify the identity of traders before allowing them to offer services within the EU. This may involve providing documentation such as a D-U-N-S number, WHOIS lookup records, or domain purchase receipts to confirm business legitimacy. Non-compliance with these regulations can lead to significant consequences, including the delisting of games from platforms in EU markets. Therefore, it’s crucial to ensure that developer accounts and associated products fully meet these requirements. It seems that, despite being legitimate businesses, those of us struggling with verification may simply need to ensure that our contact details are clear, accurate, and properly formatted. In this regard I have two questions: I’m calling on anyone who has successfully passed verification to explain how and where the contact information they provided matched Microsoft’s requirements. We really need your help! Dear Jill, I kindly ask for your help in escalating this issue to the engineering team. My studio is the first game publishing company in my country, and we even have already managed to obtain devkits—yet we still cannot gain full access to the platform. I find it hard to believe that we might be prevented from joining the global gamedev community over something as trivial as phone number and email format so that an AI finds us reliable. Thank you in advance.
