I've been trying to sign up for the Windows developer program but the address associated to my DUNS number cannot be verified by Microsoft. I also can't enter a different address manually because the button doesn't do anything, please see attached screenshot. This won't let me move past the Company Information page. The address is correct, the company is registered there. I also can't file a support ticket because I don't have a workspace to attache the ticket to. This whole process seems to be broken. How do I proceed?Error message: unable to validate your 'Create new GDAP relationship'
In Partner Center I want to create an admin relationship request for a certain customer. As you can see below I receive an error message when I clicked on 'finalize request'. The details of the error message: We are unable to validate your 'Create new GDAP relationship' request at this time. Be advised anonymous connections are not allowed for this service. If you believe you received this message in error, please try your request again. Click to learn about action you can take. If the issue persists, contact support and reference message code 715-123220 and Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. I tried to create a request on different times of the day and even my colleague doesn't managed to finalize the request because she also receives the same message. Does anyone here has a solution for this because I need to create this request as soon as possible. Hello I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed. This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution. What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way. Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.580Views3likes26CommentsCan't pass Employment Verification phase
Cant pass Employment Verification phase. "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program." We have provided a Cloudflare domain invoice that includes the domain name, exact company name, my name, exact company address, and it is dated within the last 12 months. I have used the "Fix Now" option multiple times and exhausted all attempts. After that, I have been going back and forth with a real person for weeks, but their responses seem to be generic and often incomplete email templates. The last time I tried, I put together what I thought was the ultimate helpful email, laying out all the required information in the clearest way possible. I attached three documents with all the requested details and even more supporting information. After waiting a week, I received a response that simply said: "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program." I never received any further information or assistance in any of the previous emails, and I am completely in the dark. I have read multiple posts in the community, and it seems like many people are facing the same issue. Is there any actual solution to this, or should I just give up now? I have tried with several accounts and lost a few hundred dollars in the process. I also read that they do not even refund non-verified accounts. It feels like outright fraud. I need help. Should I have any hope, or is this a lost cause?Unable to create Partner Center account
Let me start by saying that there are multiple threads on this issue, but the responses I've seen have not helped me to resolve this issue. I've exhausted all of my options at this point. I am attempting to create a partner center account. I'm based in the United States, and after submitting a valid D-U-N-S and EIN and the required information, I receive this error: Microsoft runs on trust. We engage in a rigorous set of evaluation and certification processes; as a result your request was blocked. If you require further information please reach out to Microsoft support with reference number: {Reference Number} and transaction ID: {Transaction ID}. It is not possible to contact Partner Center support or create a support ticket in the partner center as is recommended on other threads and on the Microsoft documentation. When you attempt to create a support ticket, the "Workspace" is a required field, but no options are available because the original error takes place prior to being able to create a workspace. I want to reiterate - it is not possible to contact Partner Center support or create a support ticket to resolve this issue.SolvedIssues with Account Verification and Revoked Partner Status
Hello everyone, Since July 30th, I have been struggling to resolve an issue with account verification in Microsoft Partner Center and to restore my partner status. Here's a summary of the problem: In April, I successfully completed the verification process by submitting all the required documents to confirm my domain ownership. The documents met all the criteria, including the 12-month validity requirement. On July 30th, my developer status was revoked without any explanation. I have requested clarification several times, but each time I only received requests to resubmit the same documents I had already provided. I resubmitted the documents on August 8th, but I still haven't received any constructive response, just automated messages. Recently, I received a message saying that several attempts to verify my information were unsuccessful, and the process was closed. This could result in my relationship with Microsoft being terminated within 30 days. My team has spent a year learning the Graph API and developing our Outlook application, and now it seems we won’t be able to publish it due to unclear verification issues. Could someone please advise if there is a way to expedite the resolution of this problem? I have submitted all the required documents and met the necessary criteria, yet I continue to face rejections. Here are my support ticket numbers for reference: 2404250040003907 2409030040003632 2408210040001904 2409060040005012 I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on how to proceed. Starting in July 2024, like hundreds of others here, I have been trying to pass the verification process within the Microsoft Partner Center (after joining ID@Xbox). Our company is based outside the U.S., but we have a D-U-N-S number registered. I have provided a domain purchase receipt, WHOIS lookup records, and even changed emails and phone numbers everywhere to ensure consistency across all platforms. Despite eliminating any discrepancies, I still haven't been able to pass this step. I’m not sure how the process worked before, but I believe we are facing these complications due to the new EU rules and regulations being communicated via the Partner Center profile and emails. I have reviewed these regulations. These rules refer to compliance requirements under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), which imposes specific obligations on online platforms, including game developers, to enhance transparency and accountability. The key provisions relevant to this situation include: Trader Information Disclosure: Articles 30 and 31 of the DSA mandate that platforms verify and display trader contact information. This includes providing an address, phone number, and email address on your product’s detail page to ensure consumers have access to clear and accurate information about the entities behind digital products and services. Business Verification: The DSA requires platforms to implement measures to verify the identity of traders before allowing them to offer services within the EU. This may involve providing documentation such as a D-U-N-S number, WHOIS lookup records, or domain purchase receipts to confirm business legitimacy. Non-compliance with these regulations can lead to significant consequences, including the delisting of games from platforms in EU markets. Therefore, it’s crucial to ensure that developer accounts and associated products fully meet these requirements. It seems that, despite being legitimate businesses, those of us struggling with verification may simply need to ensure that our contact details are clear, accurate, and properly formatted. In this regard I have two questions: I’m calling on anyone who has successfully passed verification to explain how and where the contact information they provided matched Microsoft’s requirements. We really need your help! Dear Jill, I kindly ask for your help in escalating this issue to the engineering team. My studio is the first game publishing company in my country, and we even have already managed to obtain devkits—yet we still cannot gain full access to the platform. I find it hard to believe that we might be prevented from joining the global gamedev community over something as trivial as phone number and email format so that an AI finds us reliable. Thank you in advance.Microsoft Partner Center: Verification fails at "Employment verification"
Our verification also fails at "Employment verification". No information is displayed, no email is sent. Clicking the "Fix Now" button does nothing. An endless loop of rejections. What's going on at Microsoft? Don't you want our apps in your store? Our D-U-N-S number, which we have provided to you, is unique. Our domain is unique. You can look up our company in the commercial register. We have been successful in the Apple and Google Store for many years. I wasted hours today trying to verify the developer account, without success. My patience with Microsoft is slowly running out. The support tickets cannot be viewed with the error: "There was a problem retrieving the support request details." How exactly can we successfully verify our developer account?SolvedPartner enrollment issue - Duplicate Legal Entity
Greetings, I'm trying to enroll to the Microsoft Partner Program (CSP) and I've previously worked with the partner center. Because of this, some time long ago my company was registered with Microsoft. When I'm trying to register again now, I recieve an error message "Exception while creating legal entity : Duplicate Legal Entity" in the company information part of the enrollment process. Now I thought I could just contact Microsoft, verify myself as the owner of the company and have this sorted. That would be IF Microsoft had made it possible for themselves to be contacted. "Just raise a ticket via the partner center". Cant create a workspace, dont have a workspace, therefore cant create ticket with support. Has anyone else had issues with the same? Kind of in a dead lock here and Microsoft doesn't have any contact point unless you're already a partner, it seems...
