Microsoft Teams vs. Zoom
Hi Community We are in need of great marketing material to convince our customers that MS Teams is better, safer and provides all the benefits that Zoom provides. Some of our feedback includes In a large group setting there will be some participants who are worried about using any system other than Zoom. Slack has a video meeting feature now, so you have meetings and collaboration spaces. Two-person Huddles are available in the free version of Slack. A paid slack account can support Huddles of up to 50 people. Some outside presenters simply don’t want to use anything but Zoom. You can establish a Zoom ongoing meeting link where a staff member doesn’t have to be present, and participants can use it whenever they want to meet. With Teams, at least one participant needs to have a Guest account in our tenant to start the meeting. The browser is more difficult to use, and participants don’t want to install the software. The meeting join experience is more cumbersome. Don’t know how to enable audio devices. Don’t realize that the hyperlink is the meeting link. Takes time to embed the entire, visible meeting link like Zoom. A plus is that Teams allows you to set up features and initial chat ahead of time. Some people have trouble with the Bookings experience. Staff and others experience what appears to be bandwidth issues, running other apps at the same time. Teams Notes and Loop seem useful, but there is some initial confusion about how the new features work. Thanks.
Camera goes black in zoom meetings
Hi all, I tried to search but could not find anything. We are using Teams Rooms with zoom enabled on them. When we start the meetings it goes all good, but after some time, the camera just goes black. Sometimes, the participants cameras also go black. This has been happening for some time now and zoom is been quite useless, have anyone else had this issue? We are running the latest 4.10.10.0.Monitoring Zoom with Azure Sentinel
In a recent blog we talked about the explosion in usage we had seen with Microsoft Teams as the world has moved to working from home. However, Microsoft Teams is not the only application to see such as surge, Zoom is another remote productivity tool that has seen a massive increase in users, with more than 200 million daily meeting participants being reported in March. Just as Security Operation Centers (SOCs) need to monitor Microsoft Teams activity they also need to be able to secure and monitor other productivity applications such as Zoom. One of the great features of Azure Sentinel is its ability to ingest and analyze data from any source not just from Microsoft products. In this blog I will show you how you can collect logs from Zoom, ingest them into Azure Sentinel, and how a SOC team can start to hunt in the logs to find potentially malicious activity.
Unable to Expand images
Myself and colleagues are encountering an issue when trying to expand an image (using Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.8663 (64 bit) app on a pc). Clicking on the image results in the background darkening and a small broken icon appearing. It seems to mostly apply to images that have been pasted. The issue eventually clears itself after a week or so but then returns. Is this a known issue? Suggestion (SS): 28 Classification: Bookmarks PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 4 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) Here my idea i got after visiting a suggestion in vivaldi about add current tab to a folder (which is available for vivaldi and edge). I tested it out and in edge is available, but creates problem, like where you continuosly add it under ddd instead inside ddd. only 1 time you added it in ddd. PS: is not the first time i see problems with other bookmarks, you should check if all functions really work correctly with other bookmarks. Same if i do that you should avoid to show me that for the creation of folders. <<<<<<< second: i tried to select 3 tabs, and then do the same. is not possible. <<<<<<< third: i still think vivaldi add to bookmark option without right click is much better. please consider to implement it to edge too. <<<< because we are talking about vivaldi, here other points i like reload miniature (i suggested this to you only for bookmarks bar) like i suggested you with shortcut for bookmarks and other things (i noticed only after sending you the suggestions, that vivaldi has already such option, but still limited compared to what i told you, which is much more complex) this is similar to what i told you too, but vivaldi show us directly the webpage, is not a second bookmarks bar ability to change default bookmarks bar. (NEW SUGGESTION, but less important, since i use different profile. it still remains cool) same like i wrote you yesterday to remove things from the bar position of new tab, like i suggested you keep last tab open, like i suggested you a lot of option like i suggested you (or better some things are not available in vivaldi too) show me only icons inside bookmarks bar, full name in other bookmarks or when you hide url from bookmarks bar (like suggested). i still think a way to add personal customized folder color to bookmarks is usefull too even if i don't really like to use shortcuts (via keyboard with crtl alt etc., not things like <ddd $dd) ... but i like how they do. trackpad gesture, like suggested is much more clean search always in new tab (NEW SUGGESTION) .... PS: until now i don't use vivaldi, because they create library folders problems. so i just use it as a normal second browser for quick searches. this is why maybe the list of good features is not complete. once devs fix such problem, i can send more vivaldi based suggestion too. i still think main points are now available in this post, a lot is already included in previous submitted suggestions. Here even what i don't like previews different colours for each tab ... other ... (yes, you can disable such things). about the download suggestion, something like where i can set "save to /user/ccc/applications" and then "save this website always in this folder" or "if /externaldrive/... is not available, use /user/ccc/applications instead".Microsoft Teams integraions fail to connect with many applications
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. Recently, I have decided to move on and start using Microsoft Teams within my team. On a daily basis we use multiple integrations including Zapier, Zoom, and RingCentral. However, I have been facing issues to get these integrations working. None of them actually works. They are there, in the apps section but they don't work. For instance, Zoom integrates and asks me to "click here" to login. I login, it congratulates me on connecting Zoom but it fails to setup meetings asking me to login and when retrieving data from "My meetings" it fails and asks me to sign in "loops in this cycle". Another example is Zapier, tried to link my account from Zapier's side, it asks me to login to Microsoft. I do and then it gives me an error 401 which has to do with Authentication. So I thought of doing the entire process in an Incognito window, same results. Moving on with Ringcentral, integrates, but similar issues like Zoom. The only thing that all these integrations have in common is Microsoft Teams so I am not sure where I am going wrong here. I have even tried to setup a new microsoft teams account but faces the same exact issues. Thank you in advance
