Another Microsoft Places Upload Error
After setting up Microsoft places I have a part (one floor) of our building made in imdf format to upload to microsoft places, I made the correlation file PS C:\Windows\System32> Import-MapCorrelations -MapFilePath "c:\temp\imdf_map.zip" -CorrelationsFilePath "c:\temp\mapfeatures.csv" INFO: Correlations file c:\temp\mapfeatures.csv was provided. Adding the Places Directory Ids to the map data according to the correlations file... INFO: No custom output file name provided, will write to imdf_correlated.zip. INFO: Updated 3 features in the map files. SUCCESS: correlated IMDF zip package created and ready to import into Places! Looks like the correct correlations where made, but after creating the map I get the following error: PS C:\Windows\System32> new-map -BuildingId xxxxxxxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx -FilePath "C:\temp\IMDF_correlated.zip" New-Map: Status(StatusCode="Internal", Detail="ErrorInvalidOrgPartition") Can't find any error details on this error, what I am doing wrong... Anybody suggestions?Solved79Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Places Upload Errors
I am configuring the public preview of Microsoft Places with a client and when we tried to upload the IMDF files after uploading the building/floors CSV, the following error message appeared in the shell: "Import not supported for file fixtures.geojson" We removed that file from the IMDF zip file and tried again but a different error appeared: "No levels were found correlated to directory floors for the building" When the CSV file with building and floor data was uploaded before the configuration step, I didn't add any SMTP address values in that column because they don't exist yet. When the import script finished, a few errors appeared stating that an identity wasn't found. Maybe that's part of the issue? I'm not sure what I'm missing. Anyone else made it through this step yet in the public preview?Solved207Views0likes4CommentsCan't find how to obtain Certification for Specialist Adoption program

We added the champion management platform app to the tenant, and now have a champions team. We've got the leaders list working etc, but when we send a user to claim their digital badge, it asks them to 'accept' then the next prompt says (see pic below). The badges are included in the Digital Badge Assets library. Only one owner was able to add the badge when we first started and from then on no-one else can. So we've had one success. No-one knows how to fix this here. We've tried adding owners/members, removing them etc. Has someone got some advice or do you know where I can get support for this? Thank you 🙂Solved560Views0likes2CommentsOpen MS Project file in teams.

Hello all - I was wondering if anyone has heard any updates about the MOCA app or the downloadable presentations that are hosted on this site: https://adoption.microsoft.com/en-us/enabling-modern-collaboration/ - As I recently started my role at a new organization that has not yet implemented Teams nor the broader M365 ecosystem, MOCA and the presentations are so helpful to explain not only "why" but what tool for the work being accomplished.Solved6.8KViews1like3CommentsIs there a great teaser video for a customer about to embark on their M365 journey to the cloud?
I think it used to be http://aka.ms/teaservideo but that is a dead URL. I'd like to reuse one already make instead of spending the $$ to make a custom one. This would be to build hype/buzz about the upcoming rollout. Thx.Solved937Views0likes4CommentsPreparing the Workforce for AI
Hi there. I have to roll out Microsofts AI features when they get released. I need help with a Change Management and Adoption plan. This is new tech that is extremely expensive so the investment alone is going to drive my manager nuts. So I have to be prepared to get these people working and using the tools. How do I that for 5500 users? Then, after the fact, how do I ensure I measure the success through analytics etc. I need a template plan and step by step guide on how to manage all of this in Admin Centre. We are talking about rolling out all these technologies - the full Microsoft Product Suite of Products, all of them in one go! We are part of Private Previews at the moment but it is such a select view people. Help!Solved1.3KViews1like3CommentsMicrosoft To Do vs Outlook Tasks

If this doesn't belong here, please point to the right direction. My firm is about to deploy Microsoft 365 (don't laugh, we're trying to catch up) - A long while ago and at a different employer, I remember seeing a resource guide for the Help Desk that covered Teams among other applications. Does anyone remember seeing that guide or do you have any resources to get an IT Help Desk Staff ready to go for a launch? I found that aka site, but it doesn't work for me. Driving Adoption can be hard when it comes to Teams vs. Zoom. I try to baffle the Teams doubters with fact based knowledge - it usually works. Currently I am trying again but need help... We are hosting a Teams event where we want to assign breakout rooms but then easily move the same groups from room to room. Total meeting participant size will be approx. 100, 25 people per breakout room, move through all 4 breakout rooms in the span of an hour. And go.... 🙂 (and thanks in advance for ANY suggestions)Solved1.3KViews0likes3CommentsWarning when auto-save when OneDrive is not signed in?
Hello, When I recently worked on a document I noticed that AutoSave was not turned on, this was due to OneDrive not being signed in. My question is should Word/Excel/PowerPoint warn you when OneDrive is not signed in, meaning that Autosave would not work. Hi all, For one of my customers I am helping to prepare the rollout of Microsoft 365, I'm looking for data that could fill a kind of business case about the usefulness of Microsoft Champions. I am personally convinced of the added value of a community of Microsoft Champions. And can use as an argument what I experienced so far helping other customers. Nevertheless, engaged customer would appreciate some more 'evidence based' arguments, to be able to answer the following questions of internal decision makers: What is my ROI if I 'pull' employees away from their core business role, to let them perform Champions tasks? What will be my cost if I go for an M365 rollout without building a community of Champions? Anyone aware of any 'tangible' data that I could use to help answering those questions? Thanks in advance for all reactions Cc: MeustineSolved2.3KViews3likes6CommentsIs it possible to briefly show a best practice at Teams options at the start of a meeting?
In our company we're interested in presenting brief reminders of "best practices" in Teams meetings automatically at the start of a Teams meeting. Something like a line of text that would appear in the options screen, or just at the start of the meeting, as in the example below: Does anyone know if this kind of configuration is even possible? I have not yet been able to find it. We're looking for creative ways to "nudge" our employees about best practices by giving them bite-sized, and hopefully within the teams meeting experience itself.Solved929Views4likes1CommentChampions Management Platform: Events vs. Tournaments
I am new to this app, after the Tournament feature was added so I am having difficulty distinguishing between the two: Events and Tournaments and how the Event Track Details list works. Would someone mind defining Events and Tournaments, explaining the distinctions between them, and describe the purpose of and how to populate each of the associated lists for them: Event Track Details, Action Lists, ToT User Actions, Tournament Actions, and User Actions. They are named so similarly I'm struggling with keeping it all straight. Some examples of how they are to be used would help, too. Or, if there is documentation that does these things, that would be fine. I have looked everyone and cannot come up with any that digs in a bit and explains these. Thank you.Solved6.1KViews0likes20CommentsWe had our Town Hall in Teams! But not everyone could chat!
We convinced our exec team to use Teams for our company Town Hall meeting instead of Zoom. It seemed to go great. We had just under 300 people, internal and external, in the call, and about 12 presenters. We handled Q&A through chat and it seemed to go really well! Until afterwards, when I got on another call and people were complaining that they couldn't use the chat feature. The chat button simply wasn't there for them. These weren't guests, either. They were people internal to our company. Now I've got egg on my face. I need to be able to reassure our leadership team that this won't happen again, or they're going to go back to Zoom. (And we did look at using a Live Event, but we didn't like it because we couldn't tell how many people were in the event when we started, if any.) What I can tell them?Solved3.3KViews0likes9CommentsOneDrive vs SharePoint - when should a shared folder in OneDrive be moved to a SharePoint site?
For small teams that don't need all of the overhead of an M365 Group, a Teams Chat group and a shared folder in OneDrive can be a viable solution. As per my post title - when would a Team outgrow OneDrive for collaboration purposes? How many files would be too many for OneDrive? How many group members would be too many? I posted a question about Lists, and got some replies (thanks). One of these replies I felt was the best answer for my question, so I marked it as best answer. But the summary page (tree view) doesn't show the best answer, it only shows the most recent reply... Which means that other users viewing the summary aren't exposed to the best answer unless they click into the topic and browse all the replies... Seems like an easy programming fix to provide better information to Champions... I tried to find a way to log this feedback, but I either got directed to App help, or O365 Admin Centre.
