Right Click Send-to To Do
I am trying to make ToDo the center of my Getting Things Done plans. One thing that would make a major improvement would be the ability in Windows to right-click just about anything and add it as a To Do item. So that.... On a website and need to visit this page later right-click send-to ToDo see an image I want to use for something? right-click sent-to ToDo In Explorer, find a file I was looking for last week while looking for something else and don't have time to double-back but want to remember where it was? right-click send-to ToDo I can go on with countless ways this would benefit my life. And following this message I'm going to attempt a manual entry in the registry to see if I can accomplish it for myself. I suspect that I can, but it seems to me that it should just be there by default given the amount of garbage that already goes there automatically.kevinfreelsJul 17, 2021Copper Contributor1.3KViews6likes1CommentClock App (Windows 10) not able to see My Day Task List

Please add formatting capability to the Notes field
I use the Notes field on virtually every task I create and some are pretty long. Is there a way to format the text in Notes? If not, is there a plan to do so? The biggest formatting choices I would like to see are Bullets, Bold and Color. I would also love to see a time stamp, since I always include the date for each item I enter in the Notes field.olliesshopApr 15, 2021Brass Contributor1.3KViews3likes1CommentCopy and paste lists?

Want to delegate like a pro? Introducing assignments – share a list of all those tasks you want to get off your plate and start assigning them to your colleagues, friends, family, neighbors... you get the idea. Tap on the detail view of a task in a shared list to see the option to assign it to someone who is in that list. We made a number of accessibility improvements, including adding support for large text in header buttons and improving search readout. If you were making changes to your custom recurring tasks, then changed your mind and clicked Cancel you might have noticed that it reset the recurrence. We fixed that bug. The cursor has been playing hide and seek with you in your notes. If you looked away to a different app and came back it would have moved within the note to keep you on your toes. We’ve told it to buckle down and stay in one place now.Polly DavidsonJul 26, 2019Microsoft1.5KViews2likes2CommentsIssue: all my tasks and lists have disappeared suddenly
I use to-do on the web, but when I opened it all my tasks, completed and not-completed were gone. It was like I had never used it before with everything disappeared and empty. I really would like my stuff back, is there a way to get it back?MbintsuhaylOct 24, 2023Copper Contributor1.4KViews2likes2CommentsUpdate Log

I am wondering if it is possible to import a list from a teams channel list to To Do? You can create own lists in To Do, but you have to enter each item separatly. In case of an employee onbording checklist with list items assigned to the employees it would be helpful if To Do would get the information from the list in teams. The web app of lists allows you to create a list from an existing excel file and add the list to a specific team channel, which is great. As the list items need to be fullfilled like tasks I hoped that they will be shown in To Do - but they don't. Planner /Tasks is no option, as it is not possible to import a standard template with all relevant onboarding items. You have to add each task separately - which is to much effort.Martina_BlnJan 13, 2021Copper Contributor2.4KViews2likes1Comment
