Impact of Deleting old Label in Compliance Portal
Hi All, I wanted a help to understanding the impact of deleting old label/labels which are not using as of now. However, those labels might be used in previously and because of that I need to und...
- If you delete a label, bascially there is no data loss. The documents to where the label has been attached will still remain.
However, please note that the protection, trabels along with the document. So if you said for example that only person X is allowed to open that document, that person will be the only one able to open that document. Even if that person leaves the company. So you might lock yourself out of that specific data.
But you could always do a search for data with that specific label applied.
You could then grasp the impact of how many documents are labeled.
