Limit Tasks notifications
Quick question. I received a question from an Owner of our Pharmacy Team and she says that when she modifies a task or adds notes to a task, everyone in the Team is emailed and notified. Is there a reason for this or a configuration that as an admin I need to turn on or off?

Bradley Allison That's not the normal behaviour.
My guess is that this group was created as an Outlook Group and all the members were subscribed to the group, that's all rather old stuff that pre-dates Teams. See the section on stopping following her Follow a group in Outlook - Outlook (microsoft.com)
