OneDrive

Good Day

 

I have my director that can't log into his Onedrive. It keeps asking for a passcode but I don't get one smsed or get one on the Microsoft authenticator or on recovery email. I have also tried google authenticator but no help. Any idea?

When I phone Microsoft I just get a BOT and no help

 

  • Does he have a work account and personal account with the same email address? Had something similar happen to me and found out you can use your work email to create a personal OneDrive.

      Clear Cached Credentials

      Sometimes cached login data causes issues.

      Force Account Re-Sync in Authenticator App

      …If using the Microsoft Authenticator App.

      Test Login on Another Device or Browser

      ...in the same company.

      Admin Reset MFA (If You Have Admin Access)

      Since it’s a work account, an admin can reset the MFA settings.
