SharePoint Admin Center redirecting to SPFx Single Sign On Redirect Page

Hello,

I've got an issue currently open with Microsoft Support however they're so far have been unable to resolve why I am being redirected to the SPFx Single Sign On Redirect Page when trying to access https://mytenant-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/AdminHome.aspx#/home or https://admin.microsoft.com/sharepoint

 

I am automatically taken to this page:

Any clue on what could be causing this as it only appears to be happening with my admin account. All other admins who have the SharePoint Admin role are able to traverse to the SharePoint Admin Center correctly.

and Yes, I've tried this on 4 different browsers and several different computers - all resulting in the same issue.

    Chris CundyHappen to our colelagues earlier this week. 

     

    A hard reload (Ctrl+F5) fix the issue for us on a PC/Laptop devices but not sure about mobile/table devices.

    We have also struggled with this issue and resolved it by opening the portal with fresh n raw session i.e. in Incognito mode.

    I am having this issue starting this week as well. 

     

    I am using Google Chrome and Firefox and have this issue.  However, Microsoft Edge doesn't seem to have this issue for me.

      Same issue here using Brave browser, but it works as expected with Edge, Brave has built in ad-blocker and pop-up blocker that I thought might be the issue, but perhaps it affects all non Edge browsers?

        Erik Wettergren This happens when using the Edge Browser as well. It all started for me after the recent microsoft Security updates. It creates the same issue on all my browsers (Google Chrome & MS Edge) and also when using In Private or In Cognito modes.

      However, the issue is also on Mac.

       

      Here's my scenario:

      All other admins don't have any issue.

      Checked on Windows computer and it’s working fine.

      When working on MAC it's redirecting.

      Checked on other MAC systems, a lowers version MAC OS is working with SharePoint admin center.

      Now when I login to another MAC with the same latest version (non-working) it's not working.

      Checked with other admins on the affected MAC and it's working fine.

      Not able to detect, if the issue is with Device or account.

        Looks like Microsoft issued a advisory in the service health, not sure if this is directly related to the issue at hand.

         

        User impact: Users may experience degraded functionality when accessing Microsoft 365 services via Google Chrome.

         

        More info: While this may not be a viable solution for your organization, users can leverage Microsoft Edge to work around the issue while we develop mitigations.

         

        At this time, we've confirmed the following Microsoft 365 impact scenarios when accessing via the Google Chrome web browser:

         

        SharePoint Online

        - Unable to create sites from SharePoint or the admin center

        - Unable to access Viva Engage or connector webparts

         

        OneDrive for Business

        - Unable to access recent documents via the Microsoft 365 app launcher

         

        Microsoft Teams

        - Unable to access OneDrive from the app tray

        - Unable to access the Files tab within a Teams channel

        - Unable to access Viva connections
