Azure Virtual Dekstop

Is 30GB the limit and does that mean the VHD file itself is automatically about 30GB for a user? In Azure File Share for FSLogix the profies show about 29 GB does that mean it's actually the user populating it that much? If not then how do you determine if the profile size is too large and needs to be expanded for user or all users?12KViews0likes4CommentsFSLogix policies in Intune for multi session Azure Virtual Desktops hosts
Hi Tech Community, Is there a way we can deploy Fslogix policies via intune for multi session Azure Virtual Desktops hosts ? Currently I am doing it either via GPO or manual registry settings. I can run a powershell script in Intune to set the same registries but I was looking for a better way to do it via Intune configuration profiles. Thanks, Yash3.1KViews0likes1CommentAzure Virtual Desktop Intune Enroll Device Credentials GPO
Hello, first I want to thank you all for the help on this topic. In this days I worked on some Azure Virtual Desktop Environment and have configured the Intune Auto Enrollment with "Device Credentials" following the official documentation here: Using Azure Virtual Desktop multi-session with Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Docs As the Documentation report "Windows 10 or Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session virtual machines must be enrolled using device credentials." With the "Device Credentials" the Intune Enroll start automatically and you can view your AVD Host Pool in Intune (obviously all the other prerequisite are satisfied). There is one point that is not clear for me: The license used for the enroll. Let me explain this point. With "User Credential" the enroll is performed by the user that have assigned the correct license (E5) for complete the enroll. But with the "Device Credentials" no license are used. In my environment i have 10 E5 license and 15 AVD Host Pool. I have enrolled all the host pools without using any license for the enroll. Maybe with the "Device Credentials" is used another approach for the enroll? Can someone explain me the flow? Thank you!2.5KViews0likes0CommentsTeams will not send video feed to participants

The Teams client is up to date, the device Surface Go 2 or 3 has been formatted but still same issue. Please advise on what to do. NOTE: Teams on Surface pro laptop works well with the video conferencing device DELL C272DEE1.1KViews0likes2CommentsGroup Policy object did not apply because failed error code:0x80070709 The printer name is invalid
Hi Everyone, I have a few AVD pools where we publish an app for users to access. Users report that printers are not being mapped after login. We use GPP user side to map printers and set as default. Many a times we see these events logged: VALUE>The printer name is invalid.</VALUE></PROPERTY>-</INSTANCE> Event ID 4098 is logged in the Application Log: Log Name: Application Source: Group Policy Printers Date: <DateTime> Event ID: 4098 Task Category: (2) Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: SYSTEM Computer: server.fabrikam.com Description: The user 'HP Printer' preference item in the 'Define Printers {XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070709 The printer name is invalid.' This error was suppressed. For this one I found this KB which is really not helpful since there is no possible solution as the client is a AVD VM and used by many users at the same time. VALUE> No printers were found.' VALUE></PROPERTY>-</INSTANCE> Event ID 4098 is logged in the Application Log: Log Name: Application Source: Group Policy Printers Date: <DateTime> Event ID: 4098 Task Category: (2) Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: SYSTEM Computer: server.fabrikam.com Description: The user 'Accounts - Main Printer' preference item in the 'Printers - Global {zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz}' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070bc4 No printers were found.' This error was suppressed. VALUE>The specified printer has been deleted.</VALUE></PROPERTY>-</INSTANCE> Event ID 4098 is logged in the Application Log: Log Name: Application Source: Group Policy Printers Date: <DateTime> Event ID: 4098 Task Category: (2) Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: SYSTEM Computer: server.fabrikam.com Description: The user 'Sales-Printer' preference item in the 'Printers - Global {zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz}' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070771 The specified printer has been deleted.' This error was suppressed. No KB's or posts out there to help with these 2 errors. Really need assistance and printers are not being mapped on first logon, users need to come out of AVD and go back and relaunch the app to see the printers mapped. This is the same case with our internal app or Notepad. Thanks, M899Views0likes2CommentsAVD Re-join AzureAD / EntraI
Hi everybody, I have an issue that I accidently did a "dsregcmd /leave" on my Azure Virtual Desktop machine. The environment is Cloud Only so I don't have an Active Directory onprem. As today everything worked good but I had to move the AVD to another subscription. The login for the users didn't work anymore so I tried differtent things and the last one was the dsregcmd /leave. One of the worst decicions of my life. Does anybody have an idea how I can rejoin this VM back to Entra without creating a new VM? There are several applications with many custom changes so that a new VM would be the worst. I tried dsregcmd /join /debug which ended in error code DsrCLI: logging initialized. Cannot start Task: 0x80041326 Failed to schedule Join Task. Error: 0x80041326 DeleteFileW returned 0x80070002. I tried dsregcmd /forcerecovery /debug which ended in the error code CAA50024 and DsrCLI: logging initialized. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: DsrGetJoinInfoEx returned no join information. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: Forcing return of S_OK instead of S_FALSE. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded returned 0x00000000 (NEED RECOVERY). DsrCmdRecovery::NotifyUser returned 0x00000000. The command az vm extension set --publisher Microsoft.Azure.ActiveDirectory --name AADLoginForWindows .. gave me an feedbach with "Succeeded" but did't change anything. How can I rejoin this device to Entra so that the users can login with their Entra Identities again? Because it is a multi-session-AVD I don't have the options to join this device to entra in Settings > Accounts..... I hope someone can help me with this problem.Solved701Views0likes3CommentsTeams addin missing in Classic outlook in Azure virtual desktop
Hello Everyone! We have both classic and new teams installed in our AVD environment, Win11 Multisession. Since we have updated our AVD machines with the new image, we noticed that it does not have the Teams add-in in classic Outlook. We already checked in com-addins, but Teams was not listed there. Do any of you also face the same issue? Can you please help us understand how we can get the Teams Addin back in the classic Outlook? We are using the source image plan "win11-23h2-avd-m365," which has this issue. Please let me know if you need more information. Thank youSolved501Views0likes9Comments
