Dear all, What can be the use cases/ scenarios for leveraging MS Bookings in LARGE CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS. Let this trail be a reference thread for use cases/ scenarios. I am jotting down few ideas. Please add your views and ideas. We can run targeted adoption campaigns based on these ideas. 1. Sales/Pre-sales employees - to manage appointment with customers 2. For all employees - If they want to conduct knowledge sharing sessions 3. L&D, Training teams - To manage appointments for the programs 4. For Coach - To schedule their coaching sessions 5. For HRBPs - To make the employees aware of their available slots Sally_Richardson ClaireThirlwall Willem_Veenstra ainemeehan joeybaruchamdig Geoffrey McNaughton Gabriel_Valdez213KViews1like2CommentsUsing bookings for events at specific times
HI, Bookings might not be the right tool for this task but I want to check. I plan to run small online webinars for colleagues and I'd like to list the events so they can book an event to suit them. I need to limit the number, so a normal meeting invite doesn't work (unless someone has a useful work around for that?) Some events will repeat, so I'd set a few occasions for some. Is there an easy way to set the time/s as a service, or do I need to set very limited working hours and block out my diary for all but the times I want to hold the event? Or is there another simple tool I could use? I know I could create free Eventbrite listings but I don't want them to be openly available or put in as much detail as a listing site would need. Hi to all, We are having difficulty setting up Microsoft Bookings. We added staff members and everything works except for one member: we added the staff member wit the role of Administrator (in Bookings) and it changed to Guest. It can't be changed to Administrator. Though, for the other members, everything worked as expected: so we now have two users with the same exact product (Microsoft Business Essentials), same exact roles set up in the 365 Admin panel, but one of them can be made Administrator in Bookings, and the other not so. A third member, with a Business Premium account, is also set up to be an Administrator in Bookings without fault. Removing and re-adding the staff member didn't change this behavior. How can we resolve this? Is this a permissions/roles issue on a higher level? Can settings/rights for Bookings be tweaked elsewhere? We have been looking extensively for answers on the web, but didn't come across any lead so far yet. We don't have any setup for using powershell (yet, because of a non-windows environment), so hopefully this can be resolved via the Admin center somehow? Any thoughts/help would be very welcome... Thanks in advance.37KViews1like15CommentsHow to manage a bookings site after the owner leaves the organization
I have done a bit of digging and cannot seem to find this anywhere, so I thought I would try here. I am looking to find out if there is a way to easily manage Bookings sites after a sole owner leaves the organization. I understand that these sites all have back-end mailboxes but I cannot find an easy way to add an owner through powershell or through the Bookings pages even as a Global Admin. Any help or insight would be great!36KViews4likes14CommentsUsing Bookings with Shared Calendars
We just switched over to Office 365 at work and I want to understand if Microsoft Bookings will be able to work for us or not. We are a charity that runs nature education programs. I have always used multiple shared calendars in order to schedule my staff for classroom programs (two 1-hour programs on separate days), workshops (1-hour programs) and outdoor programs (full day hikes and snowshoes). I have one shared calendar for classroom/workshop programs and one for outdoor programs. Can Bookings book into the shared calendar rather than personal staff calendars? We have full time staff but also contract guides that lead outdoor programs. Staffing is incredibly complex and it would be better if I could assign staff to what gets booked into the shared calendar. Does anyone know if this is possible? Furthermore, we usually have one teacher booking programs for multiple classes. Can they do that all at once or would they have to do 6 different bookings for 6 different classes? Thanks for reading!36KViews0likes8CommentsIntegration of bookings with Flow and PowerApps
Is it possible to use bookings functionality in a PowerApp. I am looking for a solution that will support the booking of resources in an online examination room, asking the person to do a reservation for each student is too time consuming, is there a way to using the bookings app. to define the resource capacity and availability but use an app to create the (multiple) reservations? There does not seem to be a connector in Flow.Solved36KViews2likes27CommentsDisable auto-scroll in calendar view
Can you disable autoscroll in calendar view? What a horrible feature. Every time the mouse cursor is near the top or bottom of the page, it auto-scrolls all the way up or all the way down. It seems to only happen when selecting a calendar item, and if you have "view-only" access to the calendar, you cannot click in the empty space of the calendar to unselect items because you cannot create new items, so auto-scroll is always active. What other Microsoft application has auto-scroll like this? If it can't be a toggled option, it should just be removed entirely.32KViews25likes45CommentsChanging Maximum Number of Attendees back to 1
I changed the maximum number of attendees from 1 to 5. It won't let me now change it back to 1. The lowest it will go is 2. I have tried "Inspect Element" to change the min number from 2 to 1. This allows me to use the down arrow feature to lower it to be 1. However, the change won't save and it reverts back to 2. Also using inspect element to change the number directly to 1 also doesn't work.Solved31KViews9likes15Comments
