Dear All, Is there any option in Microsoft Teams to mute all the participants without allowing them to unmute back? I mean, Is there is any option for the speaker to mute all the students, and then unmute them back when I want them to speak? Thanks again!Solved407KViews4likes48CommentsUnknown User displayed in chats
Hi All, Some of our employees have a list of Unknown users displayed while the "Unknown User" is an active user in AD/AAD/O365. I picked one affected employee and reinstalled Office 365 and Teams but the issue reoccured after a while. I've found a previous post which has not been solved from 2017 here Does anyone has any information about this bug?Solved280KViews1like2CommentsCan I download the transcript of MS Teams meeting using a direct link?
I am trying to extract my meeting content and run NLP model to extract important information out of it. Is something similar already present that can be leveraged. If not, is there a direct link available to download the meeting transcript from Stream app.Solved255KViews1like8Comments@mentions for entire team
I want to enable the @mention feature to mention the entire team, similar to the @all mention in Planner. The help video in Teams called "Productive Conversations" says this is possible if the admin has enabled it - about 0:50 into the video. However, I cannot find it in any of the admin settings, nor is it mentioned in this support topic. I am using the Windows 10 0.6.00.31001 64 bit client.Solved236KViews2likes6CommentsCan no longer add People to a chat and include chat history in Microsoft Teams?
Used to be able to add additional people to a chat and get option to show chat history with add person icon at top of screen. Now, when press button you only get the option to start a brand new group chat and never given option to include chat history.. this was a VERY useful feature that seems to have been removed? Not sure if this on purpose or is this a bug?177KViews5likes39CommentsDial Tone in Microsoft Teams Meeting
Hello Tech Community, We are currently experiencing an issue where users are hearing a dial tone in a Microsoft Teams meeting. We are currently in Islands Mode and the default chat app for Office is Skype for Business, and the users use both applications. We initially thought that the issue was due to users attempting to use call controls for Teams, therefore taking Skype into an off-hook state , causing that dial tone. However, one of our UC guys has said that this isn't in fact what is happening. When he either clicks the Teams toast or the join button from the calendar, the Teams meeting starts as usual, but Skype plays a dial tone, and he needs to exit the Skype app for the dial tone to stop. This also seems to have coincided with a recent office application update. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, Alex.139KViews1like12CommentsAdd Group Chat As A Channel
Hi all, I am wondering if there is a way to make a channel in a team that behaves the same as a group chat. I understand the advantages and disadvantages of conversations vs chats. Basically I like having conversation for work related things, the threads are good for organizations etc. At the same time I would prefer having a channel for general chit chat that behaves like a group chat (with the reply behavior of a chat and the general flow of a chat.) Yes I could just make a group chat that has the same members as my team but it is less comfortable to continuously go between the Teams tab and the Chats tab, and also inviting members to both the Group and the Chat can be annoying when there are many of them. Is there a way to do this that I missed?128KViews24likes38Comments
