I'd love to see a new desktop icon/folder feature. Adding a specific type of New Folder that will only be displayed on your main/primary display desktop. The folder would always be visible on the main display and contain the icons that show up on all external monitors that are not flagged as the main display. That way, when a laptop isn't connected to an external monitor, those sets of icons are quickly accessible via the special desktop folder on your main display. You would no longer have a flood of icons when using only the laptop and when docked you have them at their normal positions.305Views0likes0CommentsUninstalling games from the Xbox app doesn't remove game shortcut from desktop
Install games from Xbox app, play it, then uninstall it, the shortcut that was made automatically on desktop will still be there, having a white placeholder icon. Expected behavior: the shortcut on desktop should be removed when the game is uninstalled from the uninstall option of the Xbox app. occurring in latest Windows 10 insider Dev build and Xbox app if you can reproduce it, add your details to this feedback: https://aka.ms/AAcirp216KViews1like3CommentsExpose each Edge's tab and PWAs sounds to Windows sound control separately
Expose each Edge's tab and PWAs sounds to Windows sound control separately so we can set different volume level for each of them When I install YouTube, Spotify web player or similar sites as a PWA (progressive web app) in Edge, or use them in different tabs, I want to be able to control each of their volumes separately using Windows sound control or the audio widget of Xbox Game bar, for more convenience and control over the sound we hear. currently, everything is shown and combined under "Edge". Show device's private IP address and Public IP address next to PC name in Windows Settings => System => Remote Desktop for faster and easier connection and usage. it makes sense to show them next to PC name, because remote desktop apps on other devices such as phones accept those 3 types of methods to find and connect to PC, but in Windows settings only 1 of them is shown. if you want to find the private IP address that DHCP gives you, you have to do extra work and get it from properties of network adapter etc. or to find your public IP address you have to use a 3rd party website or service. so, it all makes sense and makes things easier to have all 3 pieces of information right in the Windows Settings. I've tested this myself and have had other people test it in my presence too, and in different network conditions, having all 3 pieces of information is always useful and necessary for Remote desktop connection. App pinning is available on Android and it allows us to Pin an open running App to the screen so when someone else wants to use our computer, we only let them to use one open application/software/program, not others. if we pin an open App or software to the screen, the other person who is using our computer will only be able to interact with that 1 application/software. they won't be able to interact with other programs or even the OS. if they want to exit this pinned screen mode, they would have to enter the Windows PIN code. this is really helpful. sometimes I want to let someone else use a program on my computer and don't want them to interact with other programs, file manager or Windows settings, so with this feature, I can restrict their interaction only to that one program or app. Upvote this Feedback if you like it too: https://aka.ms/AA65fmg3.5KViews0likes0Comments
