Is there a way to change the notification settings for everyone that is part of a Team Channel? In other words... we have a channel in our Teams chat that we want everyone to receive notifications for whenever there is a reply in that channel. I don't mind using PowerShell or whatever I need to use in order to achieve this. We just want everyone on the team to receive notifications for all replies in a channel. Background: We attempted to migrate a client group to Teams in order to enable functionality with our Office 365 setup. We have an app for them to use, and we have a Site that we share files on, etc. This group of people are newer to technology, so having everything be user-friendly is a must. The problem came up that nobody was receiving notifications for replies in the Team channels. They are only used to SMS text messaging and group texting, so they want to use the channels similarly to group texts. The group ended up switching back to texting because its easier for them to use. We need them to switch to Teams, so we want to fix this issue for them and make things as easy as possible.Solved200KViews7likes35CommentsMedia Keys and Teams notifications
If I use keyboard media keys to pause music when I receive a call in teams, the notification sound doesn't seem to get dismissed when I answer the call. So, when I later press play, it also resumes playing the teams call sound over my music. It does seem to go away on it's own eventually, but it's kind of annoying when I want to listen to music!Solved61KViews12likes47CommentsMS Teams Notifications on mobile phones - banner OK but no sound
HI! We recently rolled-out the use of MS Teams in our organization and one of the primary reason for having the staff install the app in their mobile phones is to ensure they are informed for any urgent company broadcast that will be done thru Teams. However, when we tested it out, the staffs has reported that they are not hearing any sound notification from the mobile phones (iOS and Android), they can only see the banner. All notification settings on the phones are turned ON, but still no sound. Are we missing any setup here? Thanks in advance for your responses!14KViews0likes2CommentsMicrosoft Teams - Teams pop-up
Dear support Is there a possibility to get a pop-up everytime my colleagues or i post or reply to something within a team (figure 1) in Microsoft teams? There is just a small indicator next to "activity" bell (figure 2), but its easy to miss an important thread when no notification will pop-up. I can turn up and down (or mute) these notifications in Chat which is very convenient, but i havenĀ“t figure it out for team groups. Thanks in advance fig.1 fig.2Solved8.4KViews2likes6CommentsCall notifications
Since my company and my customer both have Teams, I use a setup, where one account is used in the natively installed app and the other is used within a browser. I have this same situation on our Windows 10 laptop (with Edge) and vice versa on the customer CentOS 7 Linux laptop (with Chrome). Now, the problem is, if a call comes in on the browser, I don't hear anything (since it only rings in the headset) and I don't get any desktop notifications about it, so I constantly miss calls. Additionally, since I have both laptops on a KVM switch, I do need visual and audible notifications. The notifications for the natively installed versions are fine, there something pops up when a call comes in, but also no ringing. What do I have to do to receive visual (e.g. popup) and audible (e.g. ringing through speaker) notifications of incoming calls for all cases?5.3KViews0likes6CommentsMS Teams adaptive card notification issue on IOS

Hi there, hoping you can help me with this: I have a Webhook from Zendesk ticketing system to alert to a Teams channel when a high severity ticket is raised. It works perfectly. Problem is, the channel in question is a 'high traffic' one, where most users have notifications turned off. How can I make it such that posts from the Webhook (only) trigger push notifications and don't get buried in the shuffle? Thanks! Hi! I just received this inquiry from a manager who also happens to be a team owner. He wants to disable all notifications for his team members. He can do this for new team members but is it possible to change the notification settings for existing team members by himself as he doesn't want to bother the members to do it? Thanks in advance!3.3KViews0likes2CommentsNotifications in Teams, some clarification?
Hello. Me and my association have used Teams (free edition) for a few weeks now to collaborate in our work. But suddenly we recognized that the team members does not get all the notifications when someone is writing something in one of our channels. All thou if someone use mention or (at)Team/(at)Channel the team members tends to get a notification in alla cases. Is this by design or not?3.2KViews0likes6Comments
