Hello All, I am having a weird issue with Teams pulling down contact details. I think I narrowed it down but need help finding a solution. First it started with when we updated the phone numbers of our users they were showing up in the Teams admin console but wouldn't update on the clients. We figured out we needed to have the users sign out and back in and found that fixed the majority of issues. The remaining issues seem to be if users have a similar contact in their personal contacts in outlook it seems to cause Teams to not want to update from the O365 contact in the cloud. So several users who have been around for a while and have put contacts in their contacts in outlook are not updating. It seems it looks first to the local outlook contacts for the contact cards and stops there. So has anyone seen this issue before and figured out a way to always have the teams client pull contact cards from O365 first and not look anywhere else.28KViews0likes4CommentsIn response to COVID-19: How Microsoft can help with Situational Response and Crisis Communication

Hi We have just rolled out our new laptops using autopilot and managed through intune. I want to use EndPoint Manager to create some prevent/allow rules to manage usb devices i.e. I want to block everything but allow exceptions i.e. all keyboards, mice etc but only particular models of phones or usb storage devices. I thought of using "Allow installation of devices that match any device id" and the "Prevent installation of devices not described" This doesn't seem to block drives that are already installed. Is there are way of doing this? Thanks AlistairSet AD User with External Email Address
I am setting up a co-lo for 2 companies in 1 office space. These companies are sister companies but infrastructure has been separated for legal reasons but we are converting into a hybrid office environment where Company A works 2 days at the office, then Company B comes in 2 other days to work in the office. Company B network will be the primary on-site and Company A will be cloud-based. I want to import users from Company A into Company B but instead of having Company B's email addresses I want to call out their email address so any emails will route to their Exchange Server. However, I am running into issues doing this.... If I set their email address as Email address removed in any of the following attributes email address, ProxyAddress, or mail it fails to route the email to their Exchange server. I ran a message trace on Company A and Company B to track down the email but it does not show on Company A's message trace. On Company B, the message trace says it was delivered. What I found was that Company B's domain assumes it is an internal route even though that domain normaclature does not exist. How can I call out the companyb\user email as Email address removed? There has to be a way to make this possible. I have a script setup to email users when their passwords are about to expire or MFA passcodes, etc. that creating a mail contact will not be the answer...11KViews0likes5CommentsOffice 365 deployment teams issue

Teams only gets installed and accessible by admin users (azure AD admins with local admin rights). Normal windows users the app does not show as installed or useable. Anyone else had this issue? All other apps outlook/excel/word work fine for all users. It is set to deploy to all users in the configuration setting.Solved10KViews0likes6CommentsExport SharePoint List to CSV and Upload to Document Library

Hi, We need to do penetration and vulnerability testing in our O365 SharePoint. Ay idea how to proceed with it? I am aware that the IP will be blacklisted by Microsoft incase of penetration and vulnerability testing. However the audit is a criteria to meet. I assume there should be a way to achieve it with help of Microsoft. Any help/ideas are appreciated. Thanks8.4KViews0likes1CommentMicrosoft Bookings Notifications

Hi, We have added profile photos to all users O365 Profiles in both Azure AD and the Office Admin Centre and these were not pulling through to the People webpart in SharePoint Online. After painstakingly going through each user profile in the SharePoint Admin portal, the photos seemed to appear. All seemed fine for about a week and then all of a sudden people's photos started disappearing from Delve and the SharePoint people webpart! Users confirmed that they did not manually delete the photo themselves. Why is this happening and how do we stop it happening to anymore users?! Thanks.7.2KViews1like8Comments
