M365 Roadmap Management
Wondering if others have tips & tricks on how they stay up to date with the M365 Roadmap site? I find it tedious to stay on top of all the features being announced, switching launch phases, moving target dates, and so on. I was hoping to use the RSS feed in a PowerBI Dashboard or find a solution in Planner similar to syncing the Admin Centre messages, and after some quick searches online could not find an example of anyone doing something similar. I was hoping any members of this community may be able to shed some light on how they approach the roadmap site and what tools if any they use to manage the constant influx of information? TIA!
Rule of thumb for number of champions
Wondering if anyone uses or knows of a heuristic for determining the ideal number of champions for Teams adoption or any other app. I assume number of users would be the denominator. I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to ask this... Part of my role is to drive adoption of O365 in our customer's organisations. I'm looking for a cloud-based tool to assess who needs training, which aspects of the suite they need training in and possibly even how best they like to learn (instructor-led, video, self-paced etc). Ideally the tool would give me a good idea of the digital literacy of each employee and where their strengths and weaknesses lie with each app (e.g Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint etc). Any help with this from the community would be greatly appreciated!M365 Adoption Score - The "Remote Work'" measure doesn't make sense to me
Has anyone here used the M365 Adoption score to help plan and measure a client's adoption journey? I'm reading up on everything and I'm confuse about the Remote Work measure. According to the documentation, people are counted as "onsite" if they spend more than 3 hours in M365 apps per day. So I work from home a few days a week and probably spend 3-4 hours in PowerPoint and maybe Excel. Would I be counted as "onsite" even thought I'm remote? Maybe I'm misunderstanding how this works, so I'm hoping someone here can clarify. Right now, this seems like a flawed measure to me.How do you keep people up-to-date with new features?
Is anyone feeling the pressure to keep yourself and your people informed about the latest updates that get pushed through? Microsoft regularly makes changes to their products and there are some pretty significant things on the horizon that could cause a bit of noise (good and bad 😅) from end-users. Do you have newsletters/lunch and learns/champion networks that you can tap into?
