How can I add additional background images in Teams? I'm using both apps, one for personal use and one for work. I need to add new background effect to the teams for personal use but there isn't a button for that. I also tried accessing the images via a folder `%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds` but there are only images from the work version of Teams. So how should I add new image to the personal one? Where are background images for that version stored?755KViews0likes16CommentsMicrosoft Teams Call Volume too Quiet
My company recently switched to Microsoft Teams for our conference calls, and an issue I'm having involves call volumes when taking calls over headphones vs. laptop speakers. I typically take calls through my headphones, where volume changes work as expected. However, if I disconnect my headphones to listen to the meeting through the laptop speakers, the volume changes. For a split-second the volume will be at the correct level, and immediately afterwards will reduce so low that it's almost impossible to hear (think listening to headphones without having them in your ears). Despite this, my computer and Teams both claim the volume is at 100%, but this can't possibly be true. Any suggestions?494KViews13likes73CommentsYour Sign-in was successful but does not meet the criteria to access this resource
I was Ignite for the first time and an MVP, Chris is memory serves, suggested I post this here because he had not heard of this kind of an issue before. The end result we are looking for is for a public school director needs to access a team as a guest in you local government's tenant. She receives and accepts the invite successfully in our tenant and the logon is added to the drop down in the upper right corner like you would expect. She has a teams license in our tenant and is a member of our pilot team as well as a volunteer organization's team that she is a member of. When she hits the drop-down list and select's our local government's option she is prompted to logon again. I am not sure if I redacted too much but there is a screen cap of it in the top part of the inserted pic at the bottom along with the two following prompts. LMK if I took too much data out... Anyway, some other tidbits that may be useful are that they use MFA where we do not for everyone. Both her and I have access to the same team and both have the same issue, even though I have MFA turned on. The last page has some data that might be useful and is included at the bottom. My main takeaway there was error code 4c7, which may point to modern authentication. She is using the Teams app and has the same results both at home and school. The MVP I spoke with suggested there might be a strange interplay between our EDU tenant and what our local government is using, perhaps GCC. Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction etc! If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in. desktop-… Error code - 4c7 There's a more permanent way to sign in to Microsoft Teams. Hi all, We've been having issues with students misusing the chat section during remote learning (Teams Meeting). It would be great to have the ability to disallow chat in meetings either during the meeting setup, or in the admin portal. Hello Everyone, I discovered today that there is no "Join" button in the Microsoft Teams calendar for meetings that were send from external users (not inside our tenant) via Outlook. There is only the link inside the description to open Microsoft Teams in the Web Browser, but there is no direct way to join the meeting. Is this behavior normal for external meetings or should there also be a "Join" button? I don't have the possibility to test it with another external company, to see if it works there. The "Join" button is working properly for internal meetings. Thanks for any help, DavidSolved290KViews2likes27CommentsMicrosoft Teams - iPad app
Hi all, Due to the current climate, my workplace (secondary school) is switching to using the Microsoft Office platform to deliver our classes remotely. We currently use windows laptops but being a Mathematics teacher I also use my iPad to do particularly tricky sketches. My current problem is that I have downloaded Microsoft teams to my iPad and it is the latest version, however I am unable to make "meetings" on the iPad. This feature is enabled by the school as I can do it on my laptop. I have looked into trouble shooting the issue and it seems to have been an issue since 2017 but none of the trouble shooting I've tried has worked. A colleague of mine started a meeting which I was then able to join on my iPad, but I am unable to actually find the button or where on the app I can start a meeting from. Is anyone able to please share some insight as to what I can do? Alternatively provide me with a recommendation on how I can use my iPad as a tablet to then connect to my laptop so I can continue to sketch on that; cast the iPad screen to my laptop and then I can share my screen (laptop) with the students? Apologies for the long winded questioning, I want to ensure that I am able to maximise my abilities to teach remotely in this particularly difficult time. Kind RegardsSolved260KViews0likes22Commentshow do you remove the share screen bar on teams calls?
Hi everyone, The newest update of Teams has a pretty constant share screen bar across the screen. It goes away after 5 seconds but comes back everytime you mouse over the screen/click on anything. I would like to push this to the sidebar or top navigation if possible, or even an expand collapse option somewhere in the navigation. Does anyone know a workaround for this?210KViews6likes30Comments
