Whiteboard

Hi there, I have a specific question around MS Teams Whiteboard. The functionality is great to have but many of the educators I work with, would have very specific things to draw on the board that is hard to draw using a mouse. Are there pen tablets out there that will definitely work with MS Teams Whiteboard to allow educators to draw more complex things with their class? I have looked at Wacom pen tablets but I can't seem to find a definite answer for this question. Any insight would be amazing!144KViews6likes10Comments"We couldn't open this Whiteboard" when opening Whiteboard from tab in Microsoft Teams

We recently turned on Whiteboard for our users. In Teams, however, we are having a weird issue that I cannot trace. I have some users who have the Whiteboard option when they go to share, and others do not see it. I thought I had found the issue being that we had two different meeting policies, however whiteboard was turned on in both. I even tried switching one of the users over to the global meeting policy and waited several days before testing, but they still do not have the option for the whiteboard. Is there any where else other than the meeting policy that could block someone from having access to share a whiteboad?Solved12KViews1like8CommentsGuests can't share / create whiteboard
As a guest in a few organizations & I'm unable to start a whiteboard in any of them: Why is this? I assume there's a configuration option that controls this? Is there a limitation w/ guests in Teams? Additional Notes/Research This doc page describes how to enable for the tenant but nothing about guests: Manage access to Microsoft Whiteboard for your organization | Microsoft Learn I also reviewed this doc page but couldn't find anything about guest behavior: Manage sharing for Microsoft Whiteboard | Microsoft Learn Nor did I find anything here about guests & whiteboards: Manage meeting policies for content sharing - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn search helpers: microsoft teams whiteboard guest accessSolved7.1KViews0likes1CommentMy team cannot see the whiteboard
I recently created a new free Teams account and set up my first group, none of whom have a Teams account, so I invited them by creating a browser link. When I tried to share the whiteboard during our first meeting I could open the whiteboard and write on it but nobody could see it. I read that I needed to change some settings in the Teams Admin Center but when I tried to log into it I was told I wasn't allowed because my email address is not a company one. Does this mean that free accounts cannot use file sharing or blackboard?3.9KViews0likes4Comments
