All users receive "Your organization needs more information to keep your account secure" when logon o365 web portal. Users can select "skip for now (XX days until is required)" but it will finally require all users to provide it. I will have some user accounts to use on some applications or devices which must logon without multi-factor authentication and password should never changed. I have checked that the multi-factor authentication page of the "MULTI-FACTOR AUTH STATUS" for all users are disabled.I also checked that the "Self service password reset enabled" is set to "none". I don't have idea why all users still receive such message. How can I disable this message and requirement to all user accounts? Thank you.Solved499KViews1like24CommentsCreate Guest Users
Hi everyone, I want to know how can I manage the Guest Users. When I access to this section, I only see one record (in the image I hide the record) and the feature to delete it, but I can't see the button to create a new record. Where is the place or way to create more records? Thanks in advanced. Regards,SolvedException of type 'Microsoft.Online.BOX.Util.Exceptions.InternalException' was thrown.
when we are trying to edit a users mailbox using the office admin center, we are getting Exception of type 'Microsoft.Online.BOX.Util.Exceptions.InternalException' was thrown. e.g. turning on Mapi using set-casmailbox does not even give the option for -mapienabled. its like its in super light mode e.g Set-CASMailbox: A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'MAPIEnabled'.Solved85KViews0likes5CommentsSee the assignment date of a license

We are trying to provide someone access only to the service health dashboard, but the out of the box admin Roles does not seem to allow that without exposing other information (Billing, licenses...etc) Get-MsolRole does not seem to have the New- counter part, anyone knows if this can be done?Solved54KViews2likes17Comments"We are preparing a mailbox for this user"
Hello, Is anyone else experiencing "We are preparing a mailbox for this user" for a newly created account in the admin center of office 365? We are experiencing this behavior for both in-cloud accounts and AD-sync accounts. We have been seeing this message for close to 24 hours for newly created accounts. We have tried deleting the account, removing from deleted users, re-adding the account, reassigning a license, creating a cloud account and assigning a license. All are giving the same message when a new mailbox is provisioned. We have a current trouble ticket opened with microsoft but haven't heard back. Any help is appreciated.50KViews0likes8CommentsRead only access to OneDrive files
Hi, I've 10 users with whom I want to share HR policy documents i.e. forms & manuals etc (pls note I can't use SharePoint because of basic computer knoweldge of end users). I've installed OneDrive for Business on all end points. All users ar located in 10 different locations. Now, If upload all docs to my OneDrive and share with them via email, it only shows in their 'Shared with me' link and doesn't sync in their local drive. If I upload the files directly into their OneDrive, there is a chance they might delete/modify files which we don't want. I want to share all the files with read only access, and also whenever there is a modification/addition to a file, I want to auto sync directly on thier end points instead of sharing it again via email.50KViews0likes6CommentsCreating a subdomain in O365
Hi, Is there any way of creating a subdomain in O365 with an already existing domain? Example: webshop.contorso.com where contorso.com is the main domain controlled by the NS pointers by Microsoft. It seems that the only way is to move the domain outside O365 to a more advanced DNS server. All threads that I checked says that you have to move the domain to an external DNS, but they are a bit old. The DNS editor in admin center is very simple. No other way of doing this? For large Enterprises, what's the recommendation for assigning Admin Roles within O365 (Global Admin, Billing Administrator, SharePoint Administrator, etc) -- do you assign individual names as Administrators or use more of a RBAC and assign say the SharePoint Admin role to a shared AppID instead of individuals?49KViews2likes19Comments
