11 TopicsHow to create and log into different organizations with one account?
I'm self-employed, have Microsoft 365 Business Basic, and interact primarily with two different companies. To keep my communications between these two separate, I've created two tenants in Azure, intended to serve as the organizations (in MS Teams) corresponding to these two companies. This is how it looks like in Azure: However, I can't figure out how to actually use these new organizations. I was expecting for the Teams interface to allow me to switch between the organizations, as seen here in another (personal) account of mine: This personal account is part of five different organizations, some created by me, and some by others, and I can switch organizations as I wish by clicking on my profile picture. On top, whenever I log in at teams.microsoft.com, I automatically get asked which organization I want to log in with. Not only do I not seem to be able to switch organizations like this using my business account, I don't even see a way to log into these new organizations at all. Logging in with my primary handle username @org1.onmicrosoft.com only gives me access to Org1, and when trying to log into e.g. Org2 with username#EXT#@org2.onmicrosoft.com, which is the handle that Azure shows me for Org 2, I just get an error message. In short, I just want to be able to do what I've been doing with my personal account all along – log into multiple organizations with just one username and password, and be able to switch organizations with the click of a button. How do I set that up? Thank you in advance!13KViews0likes3CommentsUse AD Synced Group for Teams Membership
We have synced a bunch of security groups from our AD envirement into the Azure AD. As an example we have a group called GG_DEP_IT which contains all the IT members. This group is used OnPrem to delegate folder permission, application access and more. Now we wanna built a Teams-Group for our IT-Departmen (and many more) this only works with Microsoft 365 Group. Until now I've not found a way to add all members or the group "GG_DEP_IT" to an Microsoft 365 group. Since we manage all the groups on prem, the membership there is correct and clean. What would be the correct way to create a teams-channels for all department by using the existing groups? The Dynamic-Groups does not work, since the department is not always correct in the AD-Attribute. Is there a way to extract the members of each group into a new group for this purpose? What we would like to avoid is have to take care of two idependent groups manually, since a bunch of automatisation already clean up the onprem groups.Solved6.8KViews0likes4CommentsUnlink personal Microsoft account from Azure account
I signed up for a free version of Teams some time ago (about a year and a half) to use/evaluate it for my small organization. Didn't end up needing it, but wanted to continue using teams for other work/personal uses, but I can't log into teams anymore, which I suspect is due to an issue with the Microsoft Azure portal/login (I found out some months ago that the Azure account was created when I signed up for teams, which I had no idea about at the time). In short, I'd like to simply delete or unlink my account from the Azure account. Or at least use my own account for logging into a free version of teams.Solved4.4KViews0likes1CommentRe-registering with Teams (free)
Hello, some time ago, I deleted my Teams (free) organization and the associated Azure AD tenant. I now wanted to re-register with Teams. However, I get the following error message: Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in. I already tried to create a new Azure AD tenant. However, this didn't solve the problem. What should I do in order to be able to re-register with Teams? Hello everyone. I have this issue in my Teams deployment where Calendar app is not available for OnPremise accounts, only for accounts made online. AD is synced with Azure. What I mean about that is some time ago we had SFB deployed in the infrastructure. As it was not fully working I simply deleted it. Issues started with the old accounts as the external connectivity did not work with those accounts since there were still left Skype for Business attributes assigned to them, we cleared those. Since then that has been resolved. But now I don't seem to find the solution how to enable calendar functionality to those accounts. Where should I dig further? I use Office 365 E3 licenses, AD synced with Azure and Exchange 2016 CU7. Only on-premise accounts are used with on-premise mailboxes. Exchange server is on-premise, not configured as Hybrid.Solved2.2KViews0likes3CommentsThe term 'New-CsTeamsComplianceRecordingPolicy' is not recognized

I am developing chatbot using Microsoft bot framework composer. I added this chatbot to Microsoft Teams channel as well. It is a IT Help desk chatbot. We have a separate ticketing system, whenever user send a email to support@abc.com, the support ticket would be automatically created. I want my chatbot to send a email automatically to create a ticket when the user needs to create a ticket using chatbot.1.4KViews0likes0CommentsMember added via dynamic group (Azure) need to wait almost 24 hours before team is showing in Teams
I have problems with the member whom are automatically added with a dynamic group. They don't get the specified team in MS Teams for hours. These are the steps I took;(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/dynamic-memberships) - I created a Sharepoint site - I created a teams associated with the sharepoint site - I converted the members group to Dynamic - I created a rule to Attribute1 When I edit a on-premises AD user's Attribute1(Custom attribute 1) to the value I configured and I sync this to AzureAD the user is showing in de members tab in Azure AD, so I know these configurations work. Also when I go to teams I confirmed that adding users manually is now disabled/not working, as per design with dynamic members group. I can also see this user is now added to the teams in the admin panel of teams. However I don't see the member in MS Teams(When I check with an Admin user) and the user is added almost 24 hours later. And also removing the user(deleting the custom attribute and resyncing) from the dynamic group takes hours(6+). I tested with a single user(different users each time). and everything is synced properly, I just don't get the Team in MS teams within an appropriate timespan.1KViews0likes0CommentsMS Teams Lizenzen Gruppen Teams
Ich möchte Lizenzen Gruppen zuweisen. Ich habe in Teams Gruppen erstellt. Im Azure tauchen sie mit dem Typ "Office" auf. Hello ! I would like to share my experience with MS Teams. Not sure if it's a bug or a "feature". Use Case: - sign to a Teams Free account and create your organization. Use your personal e-mail. - go to http://portal.azure.com using the same personal e-mail, and you will notice that a new directory has been created with the name (or quite similar) of your "Teams Organization". If you are an Azure administrator, you will see a lot of "new directories" in your profile (top right of the Azure management console screen). I think it got really messy 😐 . also, any "free member" of my "free Teams organization" can start an Azure trial. Any ideas? Weber Ress851Views0likes0Comments
