Computer: alienware m17, cpu: i7 10gen, gpu: 2060gtx , ssd: nvme m.2 512gb Yesterday i was installing some things and gad to edit some environment variables and accidentally ended up erasing the system and user Path (dont know how), tried adding them again from a friends copy but didn't work, so I reset windows, after booting it up I installed programs and updated some drivers. After some hours it started glitching and sent me to green screen of death with the stopcode INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE, after trying to reboot it went to the alienware boot device test and said it didn't detect any boot device, and after rebooting again it went to the windowsRE and navigating to Troubleshoot > advanced options it gives options: - startup repair: upon selection, it says "startup repair could not repair your pc"gives options shutdown and advanced options. - comand prompt: doesn't recognize any drive so line is x: windows/ system32. - uninstall updates: it says it runs into a problem says to restart or go back. - UEFI firmware settings: shuts down compter and goes to bios. - system restore: its says "must specify which windows installation. Restart rhis PC, select an OS and select system restore ". - system image recovery: selecting this one says "An internal error ocurred. The following info might help you resove the error. System couldn't find the file specified 0x8007002". Nothing seems to work, help is much needed.12KViews0likes1CommentGreen Screens of Death build 176
Win 11 build 176, this is the jankiest build I've seen since Vista. Watching a youtube video crashes my computer, it crashes when in sleep mode, crashes when trying to play games like FO4 or Minecraft. Green screen of death over and over again and I can't even screen record to show this happening. I'm on a brand new computer top of the line gaming setup (Ryzen 5 5600x, Radeon RX 6800 XT 32 gb of DDR4 Ram, NVME 4.0 boot drive). All drivers are up to date. How do I fix this problem? No dump files are created for these crashes. Especially when they happen three, four, five times in a row like what happened to me this morning (9/5/21).1.6KViews0likes4CommentsTeams Meetings Gains Green Screen Effect
The Teams green screen effect allows people to select a uniform backdrop to apply effects upon using fewer system resources and achieving a cleaner output. Not everyone has a suitable backdrop, so I used the wall behind my desk to see what the Teams green screen effect could do with it. And although some imperfections resulted from the lack of uniformity for the wall, you can still see how this will be a useful feature. That is, if you use a proper backdrop! https://office365itpros.com/2023/03/23/teams-green-screen/1.2KViews0likes0CommentsKernel Security Check Failure - Not Even Booting up
Before I say anything this is what I am using: Dell Optiplex 7010 Intel Core i7 16GB Ram Windows 11 Dev Preview So, my PC keeps on blue/green screening. It has the stop code: KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE Is there any way I could fix this without having to reinstall Windows? P.S I already unplugged any external hardware and it still keeps on happening. Thanks JJS1.1KViews0likes2CommentsInsider upgrade to 16257 green screens
I have been on Insider builds since the get go. The last few upgrades all fail with green screens. I am on 16232 as a clean install from the ISO. Trying to upgrade to 16257 still fails. I converted the ESD file in C:\windows\softwareupdates\downloads to an ISO using Uuptol0setup.exe OK and ran it from C: (maybe a mistake that!) but it only offered to do the upgrade retaining just my settings and apps. That is all my own software would be zapped. Not a happy bunny at that and MS seem to have given up on allowing software to be retained during upgrades rather than updates. Anyway I bit the bullet and went ahead and it failed with error at first boot phase on reboot ( C1900101 - 0x30017) I'll try again running it from a USB bootable but wonder why MS still haven't sorted this upgrade problem which, judging from forums everywhere is now a major problem?1KViews0likes0CommentsGreen screen Inaccessible_boot_device
Hello, I have a problem with my computer since I launched a update yesterday evening I can not start my computer again. When I’m starting it I have a green screen saying that my computer with windows insider did not start well and it will restart. The stop code is « INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE ». Then it restarts and show a blue screen with for the title I have « Recovery » (« recuperation » in French) with 3 options (code error : 0xc0000001) Enter to try again Esc to launch the recovery F8 to go to other 10 options (start in safe mode with command prompt for example) but each option gives the same thing a freezing black screen with the brand of the computer and sometimes one « please wait » depending which option I choose before that I had problems but I asked ChatGPT to help me and it did not help but I don’t have the same option as before. ( before I could do advanced settings and launch the comand prompt but now I’m not even able to access the command prompt even when I chose « safe mode with comand prompt ») can you help me please ? kind regards Tom200Views2likes2Comments
