I want to create notifications for specific websites like Facebook - edge in the picture. I tried to give similar notification permission to some other websites, like YouTube on Edge. Still, when I go to the Windowssettings, I see nothing related to YouTube, as in the picture.6Views0likes0CommentsPossible to install Windows 11 24H2 on unsupported hardware?
Hi, I am not a tech savvy and really want to install Windows 11 on my unsupported PC. I downloaded the Windows 11 24H2 and start the in-place upgrade from Windows 10. After a couple of minutes, the installation wizard tells me Windows 11 can't be installed on this device. After that, I run the PC Health Check tool and found out the CPU is not supported, and the computer has no TPM 2.0 chip. Is there any way to install windows 11 24H2 on unsupported hardware? I tried a few online tricks but no longer working in my case. P.S. I will buy a new Windows 11 compatible device if I have the money next year!Solved21KViews0likes12CommentsWindows 11 Home Can't Find License Key
After a recent update, my version of Windows 11 Home is now having issues validating my product key and asking me to reactivate. I've had the PC for almost a year and have had no major issues until I updated/restarted a couple of days ago. I also get the Activate Windows text in the bottom right corner of my screen. After doing a little web search it seems like there was a similar problem years ago, but couldn't find a solution that worked for my situation. Anyone else having this problem and find a fix? I can't even adjust my sound output anymore, which is pretty annoying. Thanks in advance!82Views0likes2CommentsNew computer and old Windows license
If I have a computer with Windows 10 installed, can I transfer it to a new computer by installing a clean Windows 11 system? Will the license be automatically assigned to the new computer when I log into my account? Windows was purchased in a 'boxed' version initially as Windows XP Pro. Each time there was a possibility to update to a newer version, such a change was made.Solved97Views0likes5CommentsI keep getting errors trying to download windows 11
A couple of days ago, I got a new ASUS Vivobook 15 M1505Y, and I've been trying to install Windows on it. For the first few days, I kept getting error code 0xE0000100. Today, I tried reinstalling Windows with the hope that the problem was with the old USB I was using. However, with a brand-new USB, I am now getting error code 0x80070002. Could the problem be with my laptop's SSD? Can someone suggest a solution?134Views0likes3CommentsUpgrade to 24H2 de-activated Windows
I upgraded to 24H2 earlier this week. It took a while but finally everything looked OK. I was previously on 23H2 (and wish I'd stayed on that version). I'm now getting prompted to activate Windows. I have a pro key which I purchased when I built this PC in January 2024. I've never had problems with this key. So I tried Troubleshoot but no solution. I then went to Change Key, and entered my existing key. It wouldn't accept the key, with the error message Key already used. Of course it has been used - to activate this very PC. I haven't changed any hardware in the 11 months since I built it. Anyone have any ideas? Microsoft tech support is not answering their phone this week apparently.896Views1like3CommentsHow to Replace an Unauthorized Windows 11 Product Key with a Genuine Key?
I initially installed Windows 11 from an unauthorized source, which activated with an OEM key. However, this installation caused severe performance issues, including lagging in various areas such as: The taskbar (e.g., dropdowns in Wi-Fi settings). File Explorer (slow response). Any installed software. Overall sluggishness after starting up. To resolve this, I downloaded the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft's website and performed a clean installation using a bootable USB and a different Microsoft account, I done this 3 times. Despite this, the unauthorized product key still shows as active in the system. I’ve already tried deactivating the key using Command Prompt (slmgr /upk), but it didn’t work. Here are my questions: If I enter my purchased genuine product key, will it overwrite the unauthorized key and make my installation fully official? How can I ensure all unauthorized activators or remnants from the previous installation are completely removed?159Views0likes1CommentHow can I find Windows 11 product key on my PC?
I recently encountered a problem and would like to ask everyone for help. I am currently using a Lenovo laptop with Windows 11. Recently, I need to reinstall the system for some reasons, but when I was asked to enter the product key, I was confused - I had no idea where my Windows 11 product key was! I tried to find Windows 11 product key in the settings, but I only saw a sentence "Windows is activated" without a specific key. I also searched for some methods online, such as using the command prompt wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey, but no key was displayed after running it. My computer is pre-installed with the system, so there is no email or paper key card. Does anyone know any other way to find Windows 11 product key on the computer? Or are there any other reliable solutions to retrieve the key? Please give me some advice, thank you!Solved1.7KViews1like7Comments
