Microsoft Authenticator Passkeys for Entra ID on unmanaged devices
Hello, has anyone successfully registered passkeys on an unmanaged phone in an organisation with device compliance policies? Use case is to provide a phishing-resistant MFA option via Authenticator app for logging into apps on their desktop. Users already have authenticator app on their phone and do number matching MFA. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/how-to-register-passkey-authenticator?tabs=iOS When I select "Create a passkey" - I need to log into my account. However I'm blocked from successful authentication because I have conditional access policies to require compliant devices. As my mobile phone is not enrolled into Intune, I never get to the step where the passkey is created and registered. Based on the constraints - it seems like passkeys cannot be used for unmanaged/BYOD devices for organisations that have device compliance policies. It can only be used for users who have enrolled their mobile phone. Looking to see if anyone has tips or different experience using passkeys on unmanaged mobile phones to log into Entra?
Add filters/ grouping to microsoft authenticator app accounts
Hello! Hope you are all well! I would like to see filters of personal/ Work and school accounts or by domain. Or even the ability to organise accounts manually into groups. Currently have a long list of personal accounts and work account.Word 365 iOS keeps switching to Auto-Detect Headings even when switched off
There is a bug in Word for iOS that causes the "Auto-Detect Headings" option to ALWAYS revert to on. I toggle this setting off every time I open a document, and it turns itself back on every single time I close and reopen the document. This used to be a problem in the past, was eventually fixed, but has now started happening again.
Can't login using MFA after my phone got reset
Hi, I recently performed a factory reset on my phone and missed the fact that I only used Authenticator for MFA for one of my Microsoft Accounts, Accordind to the documentation the only way to solve this is by clearing MFA settings with the help of the helpdesk. I have already created a support ticket, they are telling me that they have reset MFA on my account and that I should be able to set Athenticator again. Unfortunately I couldn't, everytime I try to set it it is already asking to approve the authentication by sending a notification that obviously will never be received anywhere. Does anyone knows what the support team need to do exactly because I think that they are doing it wrong, it's been two days that I'm trying to explain to them with no luck.. Hello For the last half an hour I have been looking for a solution but cannot find it. I am using Word on a Samsung with a Microsoft 365 subscription. I cannot access my clipboard (as shown in the screen). I can copy and paste the last item I copied in Word using the Copy, Paste & Cut options in the app, but the "Clipboard" icon is unavailable. I have tried to restart the app multiple times. It's very annoying. Thanks for your help
