Outlook shared calendar not reflecting correct times
Hello, Our team utilizes the Microsoft Bookings App to manage studies. We instruct team members to update their shared calendar in Outlook with their working hours which we then copy into the Bookings App. The issues is that the shared calendar times that we see are rarely aligned with the times entered by the clinicians (Especially when using the old vs. new Outlooks) , so we cannot trust the shared calendar as a viable source for their working hours. Suggested feature: i would like to have a configuration option for the Outlook spell checker to ignore all words that have interspersed undescore characters (words containing _ underscores); e.g. acct_id. I do not want to "Add to Dictionary" each of these technical terms one by one. I would prefer to configure the spell checker and be aware that there is not going to be any spell-checking done on any of the technical terms used in the e-mail.Focused vs Other in Outlook - How does it work?
I am trying to identify the default algorithm for Outlook to sort my e-mails in Focused vs Other. I see the doc references to an algorithm, and there are ways to customize specific Transport Rules for either a particular user/inbox or at the org level, I'm just trying to understand the default behaviour at a high level. Anyone have any links/docs that can elaborate on this? Much Appreciated!
Sending emails using python SMTP from gmail to outlook being blocked
I am trying to send emails from my domains mailbox which is google based but it is being blocked with the following error: 450 4.7.26 Service does not accept messages sent over IPv6 [2607:f8b0:4864:20::f2e] unless they pass either SPF or DKIM validation (signature failure). Emails being sent to outlook if they are received are frequently ending up in the junk folder. I have a paid service so all users receiving emails from my platform are expecting these emails and I'm almost only having this issue with outlook, is there anything i can do from my end so that outlook stops flagging my emails to my customers?Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is ruining Outlook.com
About a week ago, I noticed that all URLs were suddenly extremely long/obscure, and beginning with something like: https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url= It destroys the URL visibility experience. I quickly realized that this was an Office 365 (E5) feature called ATP, but I'm not talking about Office 365 here but rather the consumer Outlook.com site. I need to find out if we're going to be able to disable this, and when. It's unbelievable that MS just foisted it on us, since it's not even in the vast majority of Office 365 plans! Hoping someone can shed some light on this as I can't find any documentation. For upcoming Teams meetings where we have added an agenda (loop component in Teams), we can view and edit that Loop component from the event in Outlook on the web, but not from Outlook desktop app. The desktop app only shows the agenda/loop component for meetings in the past. Does anyone have any links to documentation or information on when we might see upcoming meeting agendas in Outlook desktop? Hi everyone, We are using Outlook (classic) with Teams Meeting add-in as well as new Microsoft Teams. We uncovered that menu item Virtual appointment is missing from Teams Meeting dropdown menu in the Calendar tab in Outlook (see screenshot). A clickable menu item without a label is displayed instead, which opens a new virtual appointment window. Can you provide any guidance on how to address this issue? Outlook MFA issues, asks for "need password" and get blank screen
Hello everyone, Premier support is failing to make an progress, I have had a ticket open for a month now with no luck (Getting escalated to Tier 3 this morning). Here is the scenario We have Conditional Access rule that says if someone accesses Office 365 (All Office) from a Non-trusted Location require MFA. For most people it works fine but we have about 10% of the people who run into a really weird problem in outlook only, all other apps (Skype, Word, etc.) work fine. User opens outlook (2016 current monthly) and it shows the "need password" screen at the bottom and no email is sent/received, when we click on it we see a white box comes up and goes away, it does not give them the option. So kind of stuck there! When you go to File->Accounts and do a Sign-out and then try to sign-back in it comes up with the email window but as soon as you submit the email the window goes away and they stay signed out. Here is where it gets interesting, lets say you put someones email in there that works (but is also part of the same MFA rules), it takes that and then brings up the MFA prompt for original user. Once that user then presses approve (MS authentication app, push notifications) then it signs that user in and email starts flowing again. It seems to work for a couple of weeks and then stops again with the same prompt. We put in all the normal reg keys to enforce modern auth (EnableAdal -1, Alwaysusemsoauthforautodiscovery = 1, disableADALaptopWAmOverrride - 1,Disable AADWAM) but I think it may be something on the username side since putting in another username works.
How do I prevent double calendar appointments in 365
Hi Is there a way to prevent someone from adding an appointment to a 365 calendar if there is already an appointment for the date and time they are trying to add a calendar event? I want to prevent from happening what is shown in the image so that appointment 2 can not be added where there is already an appointment.
