My Windows 10 Pro PC upgrade to Windows 11 Pro License Issues?
Hello all I have a PC with Windows 10 Pro on it that has an up-to-date but old install of Windows 10 Pro. My hardware is compatible with Windows 11 according to the Microsoft tool. I have three problems: I want Windows 11 Pro I need a bigger hard drive I have a new processor I want to install (change from Ryzen 3600 to 5900x, same motherboard) My problem is that I don't want to lose my Windows product key. So my plan is in this order: Put in the new CPU (hope this does not break my Windows license) Install Windows 11 as an upgrade Do all updates Remove old hard drive Put in new hard drive Install Windows 11 fresh Hope existing product key works without me having to buy a new one My questions are: Will my plan work? Will my plan work better if I do it in a different order? Should I do a completely different plan? I am asking the question because I once updated the bios on a motherboard, and it disabled the license for my Windows (which I no longer had a record of). Microsoft said it was because I had a "hardware change," which I simply said you do not know the difference between hardware and software, as a BIOS update is not a hardware change. All the hardware, chips, capacitors, resistors, etc. soldered on to a motherboard were exactly the same! Thanks for reading17Views0likes0CommentsNot receiving notification from MCT Lounge

Dear All, I'm trying to re-activate an older HP Server with Hyper-V 2019. Unfortunately, this server doesn't support UEFI but the current ISOs are UEFI only. I would need a Windows Server 2019 Hyper-V Core Version 1809 that can be booted on BIOS machines. Any chance to get one?24Views0likes0CommentsPosting community events?

Hi Since early January 2025 (once I have unsubscribed from Co-Pilot feature), I have not been able to upload more than 3 files onto OneDrive Personal Vault. on the Web Browser, it was showing me that there was insufficient space - this made no sense as I still have 700GB+ of free space on the Mobile App, it was showing that I could only upload 3 files to Personal Vault - this made no sense either as I should be allowed to upload more than 3 files to my Personal Vault with Microsoft 365 Personal Classic.34Views0likes0CommentsInbox / Private messages broken on my profile
Hi, I'm trying to get informations regarding a case I opened 2 months ago and they are sent through private messages I can't open. I see that I have 97 unread messages but when I click on the icon, it just open the Inbox, try to load something for a while then just give up, leaving me there. Before someone tries to tell me that this is a cookie or cache issue, it is happening on several browsers, using normal or InPrivate session and on multiple computers so the problem is not there. After searching, it seems that I'm not the only one having this issue. Could someone have a look at it so I can reply to the people from Microsoft asking me informations in PM and not forcing me to ping them on LinkedIn? Hi all, We have deployed an App Protection Policy (MAM) for our unmanaged mobile devices (Android/iOS). Our plan is to add users' IMEI numbers to Intune's Corporate Device Identifiers and integrate this with a Conditional Access policy, ensuring that users can only access Microsoft 365 apps on devices with a registered IMEI. However, I haven’t found any documentation on how to create a Conditional Access policy based on IMEI. I’d appreciate any insights from those who have successfully implemented such a policy. Thank you in advance!26Views1like0CommentsWindows 11 only get audio when login to system
Hello, So our deployment is unique but system does not sleep or hibernate that has been disabled. but the following post is what we are seeing review. Thank you again. My company produces audio DSP software that runs as a Windows background service. A fairly common customer use case is to use the PC for audio DSP while there is no active user session in the UI. We have observed that Windows 11 mutes all audio devices (including the built-in headphone jack) if no users are logged in to the UI. Is there a setting or registry value that could be changed to allow audio to pass whether or not a user is logged in? Note that we have not observed this issue on PCs running Windows 10, this appears to be unique to Windows 1134Views0likes0CommentsMS Office: A Powerful Office Software Suite

When deciding between AWS and Azure, it ultimately comes down to your business's specific needs. AWS stands out with its extensive range of services and remarkable scalability, making it ideal for companies that require flexibility and rapid growth. Conversely, Azure is an excellent choice if you're already utilizing Microsoft products like Office 365 and Windows Server. Its hybrid cloud features are also a significant advantage for businesses looking to seamlessly integrate their on-premises systems with the cloud. Deciding between AWS and Azure usually depends on your unique business needs. If you require a wide array of services and excellent scalability, AWS could be the ideal choice. On the other hand, if you prioritize robust cloud management services and seamless integration with enterprise tools such as Active Directory, Azure might be more suitable. Which platform does your business utilize, and what were the key factors that guided your decision? Hi. I have created an excel sheet for training students which is embedded to an Iframe. But I am facing an issue when it comes to enabling Edit option in the file. It is fine when using in the iframe. But when I want to open the sheet in full view (in a new tab), the file becomes Read-Only. This course is meant for training commerce students on excel and not intended for any other uses. I have seen a similar website in which they have managed to make the file editable. - https://excel-practice-online.com/functions/sum-function/ Use this for reference. Hi, First of all, I don't know if this is a good place to ask this question but it seems that there is no place to ask this on a dedicated Aspire hub. I have a warning that i would like to get rid of on my RabbitMQ container. I don't understand why it is always on status "Running (Unhealthy)". P.S: I need to keep the RabbitMQ.Client in version 7.0.0, but I tried to downgrade to version 6.8.X and it won't work, maybe I have to use MassTransit ?84Views0likes0Comments
