Hi, I'm Eugene Rosenfeld. I'm a technical architect doing consulting work. We are helping a customer replace the video calling component of their app and have recommended they look at ACS (which looks awesome so far). One feature gap we found is they want to be able to record video calls. Is that feature on the roadmap? Or is there a way to implement that today?SolvedEugene RosenfeldApr 21, 2021Brass Contributor1.4KViews5likes3CommentsTwo Free events to learn about Azure Communication Services

EricStarker Hi Kate from PwC. I had a question about the breadth of functionality this service will have. In demo videos I have seen the primary use case seems to be video chats that begin out of a chat app. Will this service also allow for you to host scheduled meetings within a platform? In our use case we are looking to offer scheduled presentations to our clients through our platform. They would be able to find details about the events on the platform, add them to their calendar and it would generate a meeting link that takes them back to the platform for the meeting to begin within it.Kate_PhelanApr 21, 2021Copper Contributor1.3KViews4likes4CommentsACS Group Call - Join in listen-only mode
I have a use case where some participants need to join an ACS group call in listen-only mode. As such, they shouldn't be asked for microphone permission by the browser. How can this be achieved through the ACS Javascript SDK ? I have tried setting audioOptions of the JoinCallOptions object to null, but that does not appear to work. Thank you for your support.JeanPierreAkouoSep 10, 2021Copper Contributor1.1KViews3likes2CommentsSend images using Chat SDK
Is it possible to send images as messages using the Chat SDK of azure communication services? As far as I read it only supports messages as strings, and they have a limit of 28,5K characters approximately, so I tried to send images as Base64 but the result strings have more than the supported maximum characters, so I get the next error: Failed at getting messages, Error: RestError: { "CommunicationError": { "Code": "BadRequest", "Message": "Message size exceeded.", "Details": [] } } Any help would be really appreciatedsurionahAug 03, 2021Copper Contributor1.6KViews3likes1Comment6/15: That's a wrap!
