Ongoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
Hello
I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed.
This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution.
What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way.
Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and support.

I'm stuck at the same stage and received a response from a support specialist asking me to upload documents by clicking "Fix Now." However, clicking the button does nothing—it simply restarts the verification process and sets the status back to pending.
After multiple attempts, it now appears that my account has been banned. In the "Legal Info" section, my status shows as "Rejected," and the verification process has reverted to the "Identity Verification" stage, which is also now marked as "Rejected"—even though it was previously approved.
Additionally, I no longer see the "Fix Now" button; instead, it only shows "Rejected."
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

It looks like not only I am facing this issue but tons of members are facing the same as I am....tried all the ways and submitted all the required documents but still stuck at "Employment verification".
Does anyone have experience reaching support or does anyone have a partner support contact no? I never came across this type of support for partners from an internationally reputed firm.
JillArmourMicrosoftMicrosoft AI Cloud Partner ProgramPartner Support Offeringsplease can you look into this issue? this is very serious and there is no direct contact of support who responds on time.
Hope to hear from someone responsible very soon
Looking forward.

I know the system is not working well for alot of partners. The best course of action is to submit support tickets and make sure your paperwork is acceptable. Make sure your registered your business name EXACTLY as is it listed on your domain paperwork. It cannot expire within two months from todays date and it must be issued within the last 12 months.

I'm also facing the same issue with company verification (due to a company rebranding) in the Microsoft Partner Center. Failed verification despite submitting all required documents, including proof of domain ownership and business registration.
I raised a support ticket (Case ID: 2502180040006371) on February 18, 2025, but have received no response from Microsoft, even after multiple follow-ups. Instead, I recently got an email stating that my verification process has been permanently ended, with no explanation or guidance on what went wrong or how to fix it.
Since my Partner status is at risk of termination, I need urgent escalation. It looks like many partners are stuck in a similar loop with no clear path forward.
If any Microsoft representatives are monitoring this thread, please help escalate this issue or provide guidance on the next steps.

What was the messaging support shared back to you before closing your ticket? This is not a support forum, but maybe I can figure out why they keep rejecting you based on their response to you.

Same here. I went through this with multiple support tickets and all I get is "Upload documents" without any information about what documents to upload (I've uploaded "everything"), "Prove you own your domain" when I have uploaded multiple documents showing I own the domain, and "We are closing this support ticket, and we will not provide information about why."
I literally cut and paste the e-mail from the support ticket with screen shots of where the documents were uploaded, and screenshots of the document contents, with color coded lines linking each criteria from the support ticket to the application and the content in the documents, and attached all of the above to the e-mail. A grade schooler could follow that yes my name, address, domain, dates, etc. matched perfectly and fulfilled all criteria to the letter. No progress... just "I am unable to provide any additional detail and I will be archiving this ticket."
I wrote a physical letter escalating this to the VP of Microsoft Partner programs including all of the documentation in physical form... absolutely no response there either.
Today I get an automated message to complete my verification. Press the Take Action button, it goes to login.windows-ppe.net instead of the usual login page, and that page does not recognize any account I try at all as even existing.
Fix Now button does nothing. Identity verification that used to pass now fails... I guess I am no longer myself.

Almost the same problem, I can't get permission to change the setup as Global Admin even though that's what Microsoft says.
I think they should turn off IA. - tufik2Copper Contributor
Same issue here
Looks like the verification is made by AI, also I tried to put. ticket, but when I go to detail I face the next error..
Is there any other way to communicate with Microsoft (a real person) and verify the identity? I am stuck and unable to update my app.

I am having the same issue, but worse the app doesn't let me try more times, my account was locked
Also, I put a ticket 4 days ago... And when I open the ticket detail, that shows an error.
Looks like the Microsoft Partner Center is full of bugs everywhere.
Any of you know another way to communicate with them or all is IA that always reject all the documents? - ElnaraCopper Contributor
Same issue for about 6 months already!

Hello, I have the same problem.
Fix now leads to nothing.
I've tried everithing but I'm stuck here and nobody can't help, opened a ticket and beside an automated reply nobody helped me. This is hurting our business
