Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsQueue App - historical agent information
We have recently introduced Teams Queue application , it works well but doesn't seem to provide the same information for historical reporting than real time. As an example: We are able to see the number of calls presented to each agent within the group as it happens (today), It shows us all the presented, the number answered, abandoned or timed out in real time, to ensure the correct number of resource is aligned this is essential. It doesn't however, show this data historically, to see an overall number of calls answered, abandoned or timed out per agent for a specific date period. The historical data only seems to provides generic information for the call queue as a whole, not the agents opted in, even when extracted into an excel report. Is there a way to get this data historically ? or is it just not yet available. Without, we are reliant on daily Screen pics of agent impact, which is not very good! (It is also not available within the PowerBI reporting, only calls answered are documented here)162Views0likes6CommentsWindows - A JavaScript error occurred in the main process
Hello Everyone, While installing Microsoft Teams, the error message described in the subject line is thrown. Am running Microsoft Windows Version - 1909 A couple of troubleshooting tips found on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/troubleshoot-installation have been tried but the error still shows up. Any idea on how to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated. UPDATES I did a comparison of 2 SquirrelSetup.log files. (Both PC runs Windows 1909 and the same build number. The PC 1(Throwing up the JavaScript error above)logged some issues not found in the PC 2 as shown below: ----start---- ApplyReleasesImpl: Couldn't run Squirrel hook, continuing: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current\Teams.exe: System.OperationCanceledException: The operation was canceled. at System.Threading.CancellationToken.ThrowOperationCanceledException() at Squirrel.Utility.<>c__DisplayClass11_0.<InvokeProcessAsync>b__0() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.InnerInvoke() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.Utility.<InvokeProcessAsync>d__11.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.UpdateManager.ApplyReleasesImpl.<>c__DisplayClass18_1.<<invokePostInsta ll>b__2>d.MoveNext() ---end---- FURTHER UPDATES Many suggestions found on GitHub, Microsoft support site, blogs and other websites have been tried. So after spending several hours googling and searching for a working solution, the following finally worked on the PC in question. A standard user account was created on the PC. Downloaded a new Microsoft teams app. In services.msc, the status of a service called Quality Windows Audio Video Experience was also manually started. Executed the app and no JavaScript error was thrown. N.B: I am still not satisfied with this fix, cos i applied the same troubleshooting approach on another PC throwing up the same JavaScript error, and the fix doesn't work on it. 🙂Solved201KViews1like11CommentsTeams room reservation setting
Hello, Not sure if anyone has encountered the same dilemma as I have, but I can't seem to locate this Teams Room reservation setting anywhere. I've check on both the Teams admin portal setting & the device setting. I have basic & pro license and still do not see this feature anywhere. Device: MaxHub XCoreKit Teams app: TMicrosoft managed rooms 5.24.14101.0 This is for Panel setting but we only have a touchscreen console in the room. Settings > Device settings > Teams admin settings > Meetings and then turn off Allow room reservations. Can't find the below option (stock img). Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you!30Views1like1Comment"Microsoft Teams" Is Accessing Your Screen notification
Hi, after the latest Mac Update (MacOS Sequoia version 15.2) I am now perpetually getting reminders that Teams is accessing my screen and audio when I am deliberately sharing my screen. I can't find a way to get rid of it. This happens multiple times throughout a meeting when I am sharing my screen. Any suggestions?3.3KViews9likes12CommentsMY FIX!! MS TEAMS says I'm offline when I'm connected to my network with no issues
My Teams on my laptop kept telling me I was "offline" even though I was connected with a strong signal to my wi-fi, I could browse the web with no issues, connected to VPN and (through VPN), I was RDP'd into servers for work. This was VERY frustrating as I had meetings to attend and I didn't want to do it on my phone. Plus not being able to communicate (messaging) over Teams. I tried SO many things: Logged out of Teams and logged back in Restarted Microsoft services I saw in services.msc Uninstalled/reinstalled Teams Disconnected and reconnected from my wi-fi I had recently changed my password so I cleared out my Microsoft credentials saved in my Credentials manager just to be safe Another reboot Know what FINALLY fixed it? Allowing the app in my Windows firewall... **BEFORE YOU READ THE REST, I wanted to share a fix that worked for another person (they commented below) - thank you biradarvenkat ** To resolve this issue, go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > ensure Automatically detect settings option is checked. Another comment with a fix that worked for IanJCI (thanks for sharing!!) Non of the other Fixes worked, but I disconnected from our corporate network, and connected using a new Internet connection not connected to our network. This changed my status to Online, and it has remained online when reconnecting to the corporate LAN As an Update, Every time I start the computer, Teams shows me offline and I have to unplug the LAN cable, change Internet connection for it to show me as available, then I change back to corporate LAN, and it stays showing available most of the day. If that didn't work for you - please try the steps below 🙂 I already saw a "teams.exe" app in the list of programs and made sure all instances were checked to be allowed through Public & Private but I figured I would navigate directly to the location that my Teams program had in it's properties So I right-clicked my Teams icon in my taskbar, when the window popped up, I selected Properties. I saw that it had the Target as: C:\Users\My Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\Update.exe In the Windows Firewall settings, I selected the option to Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall I selected the button at the bottom to Allow another app... The "Add an app" window appeared --> I selected the Browse... button next to the "Path" field In the Browse window, I navigated to the location that I grabbed from the TEAMS properties window earlier: C:\Users\My Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams Once I was in that folder, I double-clicked the Update.exe application and it appeared in my "Add an app" window as "Microsoft Teams" (of course!) I pressed the Add button at the bottom. After that, I was magically able to log into Teams with no issues!!! OMG what a relief! I am hoping to save someone else the headache I had figuring this out lol, it was a fun one!245KViews4likes16Comments"You might not see everyone's video" - can I suppress this?
Recently (this week), I started getting this pop-up every time I join a Teams meeting: "You might not see everyone's video. The device you're using can only show a limited number of videos at this time." This using Teams 25017.203.3370.1174 on Windows 11 on a Surface Pro 6 (Core i7 w/16gb RAM). I've been using Teams on this Surface for years and have not had any issues with video. And I'm not seeing any new issues with video so not sure why I keep getting this message. I have to click to close it every time I join a meeting. Is there a way to suppress this or turn it off?1.7KViews4likes10CommentsHow-to remove a contact from personal contacts in Teams?
Hi everyone! I want to get rid of several contacts that got imported to my Teams contact list when my user was migrated from Skype For Business. How do I remove contacts from my list completely? I was able to remove a contact from all groups but the contact still seem to be there (e.g. via search). Thank you!22KViews1like2CommentsWhich Teams to remove?
I had 3 types of Teams installed, I'm experiencing issues and confusion, so I want to get rid of the unneccesary bulk. Already removed Teams "personal". Now I have these two left. Classic is nearing end of life, right? So I assume the other one is the "new" Teams which I should keep? The dates shown here confuse me though. Did "classic" receive a recent update, while "Teams" did not? I work with both a private and changing business accounts (from clients I work for). TIA23Views0likes0Comments
