We have many Yealink MVC800ii and MVC840 MTR systems running in our meeting rooms. We're seeing real issues with HDMI ingest, particularly using the HDMI cable that connects to the MTouch II panel, and less so when using the WPP20 wireless dongle - but both are not working optimally. The usual pattern is that either presenting or sharing content (both scenarios are affected) works until around 50-60mins into a call/meeting then things start getting really laggy. Mouse moves or slide navigation are delayed and not seen on the front-of-room displays or by external participants for several seconds. The delay then starts to extend to 30+seconds, usually resulting in the call eventually dropping and the MTR needing to be restarted. This is happening in different rooms, to different users using different models of laptop and when sharing content stored locally on their devices as well as opened directly from M365 services such as SharePoint or OneDrive. All indications point towards a problem with the in-room kit, like a memory leak. All of our systems have fully up-to-date software and firmware and I've confirmed that they are restarting nightly via the 02:01 scheduled task. Other than Extron CTL100 workplace controllers installed in some of the affected rooms, there is no 3rd-party hardware involved in the MTR set-up, its all standard Yealink kit. We've swapped out components, cables, and even factory reset and rebuilt some systems. Call activity and system health shown in the TAC rarely show any issues. Sometimes there is a report of 'poor' audio quality in some (not all) of the affected meetings, but generally everything appears 'healthy' or 'good'. Has anyone experienced these symptoms (with Yealink or other manufacturers)? Or any ideas on what to try? It's now a real problem for us as we open more MTR equipped rooms.19KViews0likes19CommentsMicrosoft Teams RoOms : Theme Template (Font color)
Dear Microsoft, We are having our Albert Czech republic headquters equiped with about 40 Microsoft Teams Rooms rooms and in many others across the globe. Questions are: - How to use full capability of screen resolution for background ? Some of our screens are capable of doing 3840 x 2160 pixels with 30hz refresh rate and we want to use pictures with 7680x 2160 dimensions. Microsoft suggests actually only "lowresolution dimensions 3840X1080 pixels" for two screens background. - How to change font color on default screen? We have a Logitech TAP for Teams and Rally Plus system. I've been able to get the system to accept meeting requests from Teams, Webex and Zoom. These show up on the TAP as you would expect. My question is "Can I manually join a meeting with a Zoom Meeting ID or a Webex Meeting Number from the TAP device (through the MTR interface)? Thanks! I have an HP Elite Slice for Meeting Rooms G2 and bought a Logitech BRIO Ultra 4K and wanted to use this as Room Camera (not Content Camera). So, regarding the MS page https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/across-devices/devices/product?deviceid=37 and also the Logitech page, there is no information about that Logitech BRIO is ONLY and just a content camera. So did I anything wrong, or is the hardware not usable as room camera? bestSolved13KViews0likes3CommentsMTR Poly GC8 screen blank when joining Teams Meetings
Teams Room 4.11.17.0 with Windows runing 20H2, no updates available. When we join a Teams meeting the touch panel goes blank, so we cannot control or leave the meeting. The participants are shown on the connected TV and the camera works in that the participants can see the room. The only way to end the meeting in the Meeting Room and restore the touch panel is to reboot the system. Similarly, if we select the call function, the screen goes blank until it times out and returns to the dashboard. The MTR is running 4.11.17.0 and Windows is 20H2. We have tested the MTR device wtha a Zoom Meeting and the panel works fine. Any suggestions?Solved13KViews1like12CommentsError running CreateSRSMedia.ps1 - Microsoft Teams Rooms USB image creation

Need Zoom and Webex feature
I have a MTR device from HP and the version 4.2.42.0 which was coming after the first setup from this device last month. I tried the function for Zoom and Webex, but I got the message on my MTR , when I click on a Zoom or Webex Meeting "This isn't a Teams or Skype meeting, Ask the organiser to make this a Team or Skype". So I checked the release page and saw there is a new version since end of march. We have end of april but my Windows 10 IoT doesnt show me any updates and I have still 4.2.42.0 And of course, there is no way to download the MTR exe to update this, or check for updates or something, isnt it? Maybe this is not depening why Zoom and Webex is not available but why I cant update MTR and why it Zoom and Webex not working then? Best5.9KViews0likes4CommentsMTR as a recording device
Hi, I have a Lenovo Thinksmart hub in one of our meeting rooms and had a query if we could use it as a recording device. We have many meetings which we would like recorded and know that if set up early enough we can add recording to the meeting options BUT if it was an impromptu meeting we cannot find an option for the MTR to turn on recording, is this possible? Hello, For the first time I am trying to update our Microsoft Teams Rooms VC units, and I am using the deployment package MSI. We have the Windows Store disabled in our organization. I am using the PowerShell command that was included on a Microsoft support webpage, but it doesn't seem to work. Add-AppxPackage -Update -ForceApplicationShutdown -Path "$PSScriptRoot\*.appx" -DependencyPath (Get-ChildItem "$PSScriptRoot\Dependencies\x64\*.appx" | Foreach-Object {$_.FullName}) I get the following error: Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D19, An error occurred because a user was logged off. Windows cannot update package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because the previous version is not installed. Install package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe instead of updating it. NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 in the Event Log or use the command line Get-AppxLog -ActivityID 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 But if I remove the -update parameter, then it works fine. But I still see the old and new version installed under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ so I am guessing that isn't right. Can anyone provide some guidance to what might be wrong? Thank you!Solved5.4KViews0likes2Comments
