Hi all, just had an update message sent to my co-organisers, stating that Q&A had been enabled. The event has been set up and published for a week, with no amendments to the event at any time. Is there a reason for this, it seems to coincide with our companies Windows 11 roll-out. Thanks 1081JB9Views0likes0Comments"You might not see everyone's video" - can I suppress this?
Recently (this week), I started getting this pop-up every time I join a Teams meeting: "You might not see everyone's video. The device you're using can only show a limited number of videos at this time." This using Teams 25017.203.3370.1174 on Windows 11 on a Surface Pro 6 (Core i7 w/16gb RAM). I've been using Teams on this Surface for years and have not had any issues with video. And I'm not seeing any new issues with video so not sure why I keep getting this message. I have to click to close it every time I join a meeting. Is there a way to suppress this or turn it off?1.7KViews4likes10CommentsCannot login to Teams on iphone
Hi All, I am using Teams with a personal Microsoft account (Microsoft 365 family plan). I am successfully signed into Teams on my Mac computer and can use if with no problems. However, I cannot sign into the app with the account on the iphone app. After entering my password or going through Authenticator, I receive a message: No Teams orgs yet Looks like you're not using Teams yet. Check that you've been invited by the org you're trying to sign in to. You can also set up Teams for your org by selecting Create new account. I have already searched extensively but couldn't find any solutions that worked. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. I am on am iphone 16 pro with the latest version of ios installed. Any ideas? Thanks.50Views0likes0CommentsLast Update Removed new UI
I just updated Teams and the new UI has dissappeared? I'm currently on version 25007.607.3371.8436 and the client version is 49/25010620412. I have been working in the new Teams UI for several weeks now, and really like it, as I spent time how to best combine channels, group chats and personal chats. Anybody else facing this ussie?Solved749Views3likes9CommentsMicrosoft teams user analytics custom dates
Hi team, Just wondering if there is a way to get Teams analytics on a custom dates range? I know we can get trends currently for 7, 30, 90 or 180 days. But I would like to generate a report for a particular time period, for example: for the Month of December (31 days). Is there a way to action this ? Thanks1.2KViews1like3CommentsMore control with Teams chat notifications (Duration, marking as Read)
Currently in Teams it shows you if you have unread chats in your taskbar notification icon (small red bell). But to mark that notification as read you have to open up Teams and then highlight the conversation to mark it as 'Read'. Does anyone know if there is a way, or given thought to building a way, to have more control over the notification pop-up that would allow you to control how long the notification displays when a new chat is received and to also add a button that would allow you to mark the chat as read rather than opening the entire Teams application? I'm not seeing this ability in either the "Teams built-in" or "Windows" notification styles.' Thank you for your consideration! Hello Microsoft 365 Team, We are an ISV that develops a Microsoft Teams-integrated solution used across multiple customer tenants, and we have encountered a privacy and security concern regarding the visibility of private teams in the Global Address List (GAL). Issue Private teams are expected to remain private and undiscoverable. However, we have found that in some tenants, private teams are visible in Outlook and the GAL by default. Microsoft Support initially indicated that private teams should be hidden by default and that a fix was in progress. More recently, Microsoft Support has stated that this behavior is "by design," but we have not been able to find any official documentation confirming this. Seeking Microsoft’s guidance We would greatly appreciate clarification on the following: What is the expected behavior for private teams and GAL visibility? Is there an official Microsoft document that confirms whether private teams should be visible or hidden by default? If private teams should be visible by default, is there a roadmap update that will allow admins to configure this more easily? Has this behavior been reviewed by Microsoft’s Security & Compliance teams as a privacy concern Why this is important As an ISV, we develop solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365 and need to provide accurate guidance to our customers. Some customers have security & compliance requirements that depend on private teams being fully private. Understanding whether this is a recent change, a misconfiguration, or the expected behavior will allow us to implement appropriate solutions for our customers. If this issue has been raised internally, we would appreciate any insights from Microsoft’s product or engineering teams. I am tagging Jeff Teper Alym Rayani and Karuana_Gatimu_MSFT in case they can provide clarification. We appreciate any guidance you can provide on this issue and look forward to your response. Hi all, Since we updated to 25007.607.3371.8436 we seem to be getting issues with our reception team consult and transferring through to call queues. The use the Team native app to transfer and when the person answers the consult you'll hear them speak for a moment then it will put the call on hold, which they'll need to resume to continue. Wondering if anyone else is having these issues? They have a Yealink MP50 as their device Handset/headset.. and whilst we have put it down to hardware so far swapping out these devices in favour of a standard Teams approved headset hasn't resolved the issue. Firmware etc are all up to date... we see no issues on the gateways and no unusual behavior anywhere.151Views0likes0CommentsTeams just started using near 100% CPU and memory
Teams has recently begun consuming all available resources, resulting in a very sluggish user experience. Total CPU and memory usage are at or near100%, with Teams using about 80% of CPU and 23 GB memory. I'm working on a Surface Book 3 i7 32 GB with everything up to date. Environment is Windows 11 and MS 365 GCC with latest Teams version 1.6.00.12455 (64-bit), updated 6/7/2023. The problems started in the last several days. Prior to that I'd been using Teams without notable incidents for years, about 12 months in GCC. When I kill all Teams processes with Task Manager, resource usage levels immediately drop to normal (CPU about 30%). If I configure start-up without Teams and reboot, resource usage is also normal. I've run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow with clean results. -KenSolved108KViews2likes17Comments
