[Windows 11] Hover on taskbar apps don't get preview when open multiple windows of the same app
Is this a glitch or features? I have the problem since the first Windows 11 Insider Preview (Dev Channel, Build 22000.51). But it seems haven't be fixed yet. My current OS build is 22000.176 (Beta Channel). Windows 11 22533 breaks taskbar positioning.
It seems that the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3 resets every time explorer.exe starts. For instance, if I change the position of the Taskbar (00 -> 03), then save, and then reboot explorer, the registry resets, and the taskbar remains in the bottom of the screen. If possible, it would be good to see notification badges on taskbar for the pinned website like Twitter and other social media platforms we already get some sort of hint when there is notification available on Twitter on Edge favorites toolbar, (using Edge canary 83 at the moment) notice the small red dot. it disappears when I go to Twitter and check my notifications or mark them as read. i think this is great and needs to be visible on the Taskbar pinned items too.
Taskbar peek in fullsreen mode
Edge chromium currently hides the taskbar in fullscreen mode. User has to press Win + T or Win keys every time to display taskbar while in fullscreen. When being fullscreen taskbar should be visible when the mouse is brought down near the taskbar. Edge legacy had this feature. Kindly work on it. Hi! I am using windows 11 now and also Skype for Business (Client Version 2111). In windows 10 when I get a new message in a minimized chat window I was able to see this because the taskbar icon flashes. In windows 11 this is not happening anymore so I do not see when I get a new message in an already opened and minimized chat window. Regarding to my message settings I get a notification when the first message appears but when I do not close the chat window (just minimize it) and some time later another message is comming in I do not get another notification. Is someone else having this issue and is this intendet behaviour? Currently it is very difficult for me to use skype for business because I will not be notified for new messages this way except I check the messages once in a while? I already have tried to check my notification settings in skype and windows but I think windows 11 just stop to support this feature. Can this be correct?Windows 11 start menu not clickable
When the taskbar is centered i can't click inside the start menu but if i place it on the left, it is possible. Then the terminal had the same problem, if i place it on the center i can't click but i can in the left. It's like something is blocking the screen center. The problem only happens with this programs, it is very weird. I attached a video. Bring back the ability to hold Shift + click on pinned icons on Taskbar to open multiple instances of the app Windows 10 has this useful feature but it's missing in Windows 11, where you could hold Shift and then click (left-click) on a pinned app icon on taskbar that is already open, in order to open another instance of the app. for example the file explorer, browser, media player, text editor, calculator and so on. Edge Beta Pin to Taskbar is not showing Stacked Tabs
I am trying the new Edge Beta version and the Pin to Taskbar is not like other apps on Windows. After pinning edge beta to taskbar, if we open a new window its showing up as two different windows on the taskbar instead of stacking them under one single icon on taskbar. Attaching the screenshot for reference. Note: however at any point, it only shows up two different icons on task bar for edge beta for the fact that it is stacking up the new windows that are launched after the first instance under the second icon.
