Many users have expressed that they are missing one of Outlook Classic's features: the ability to create rules for sent items. Currently, rules in New Outlook manage received messages in the Inbox. This blog provides details. When a Shared Mailbox receives an email, it should show up in a user's inbox so that they do not have to navigate to the "Shared with me" section - but it does not. Why is this happening? What setting needs to change to make this function like a Distribution List in that the message will appear in the user's inbox? I swear this used to work before Microsoft kept changing things with the "New" Outlook.984Views0likes2CommentsNew Outlook not playing new email sound or sending notifications.
I'm using the New Outlook and it's not playing the new email sound and not displaying notifications for new emails. If I switch to the Classic Outlook it plays the sound and sends a notification. I have checked all the sound and notification settings, all updates are installed and I'm running the latest version. How do I fix the issue of the New Outlook not playing the new email sound and not displaying a notification?900Views3likes0CommentsJoin us as Ignite 2024 to learn more about Microsoft Outlook

Some of our users have switched to New Outlook and when saving "All Attachments" of 2 or more files they are saved in a zip file and causing issues for users having to unzip before they can interact with the files. On reading around I can see that this cannot be switched off at the moment. The only work around would be to save files 1 at a time or switch back to classic outlook. Switching back to classic outlook is not really an option because the user went to new outlook because of performance issues. Is there a suggestions area I can submit a request to have the save all attachments to work like it did in classic outlook.799Views2likes4CommentsOutlook Preview - Subfolders Within Public Folders Not Appearing Within the Directory
Hello, I just enabled the Outlook preview, and I am unable to see any of the subfolders in the list of public folders within our organization. Is this a known issue/bug, or are the way public folders shown going to be deprecated in this upcoming release? I was trying to find any specific documentation related to changes being made to this feature, but I couldn't find anything specific. Hello, I am noticing a couple of new issues with New Outlook. All the above works with old Outlook. -Auto Labelling not working(Based on Sensitive info type). -Label requirement not working (i.e. Users can send without a label, in old OLK/OWA, they get a prompt to label the email) -Label Inheritance not working (from attachment) -Smime Signing/Viewing emails. -If you set a dlp policy with an option to add certain label based on a detected sensitive info type on unlabelled emails, The policy tip is displayed but the label is not added. All the above works with old Outlook and most work in OWA but all the above does not work in New Outlook. Any workarounds? are those functions not supported yet? Any help will be appreciated.500Views0likes0Comments
