A couple of users don't see any presence status from Teams within Outlook. The checkbox within Teams is ticked but the option in Outlook is greyed out. It's working at half of the users (option in Outlook is available and ticked) and at the other half of the users it's not working. Any ideas? Hi, One of my coworkers keeps getting the following error when trying to schedule a Teams meeting in outlook: "We couldn't schedule the meeting. Please try again later." I'm aware there are a lot of posts about this allready, but none of them gave me a solution for my problem. He's signed in to the same account in teams as his office account selected in the outlook settings. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!Solved280KViews1like36CommentsCan't connect to external meetings from the Teams Calendar, but can from Outlook
I am getting reports from many of my users across my organization that when they try and join a Teams meeting hosted by an external third party (such as a vendor, partner, or customer), that the meeting never connects if they click Join from the Teams calendar. However, if they go to the same meeting request in Outlook, they are able to join via the web link. Is there any particular reason my users cannot join a Teams meeting being hosted by an outside resource directly within Teams? All of our users have been migrated to Office 365 and Exchange Online, and Teams works pretty much flawlessly otherwise. RESOLVED - It was Mimecast causing the issue, we simply added a URL bypass policy for teams.microsoft.com to Mimecast, so did not put a mimecast.com security URL in its place.Solved33KViews0likes3CommentsNot able to Create MS Teams meeting via Outlook 365 on Mac

Are many of you seeing this button in Outlook? Did you have to do anything to enable it? I see SHARE TO OUTLOOK from within Teams, but not the new functionality to share an email chain TO Teams...much more useful in our environment. We tend to get features rolled out to us fairly quickly, so I wanted to make sure that there was nothing we needed to do as an admin to turn the feature on? Thanks! I'm interested in knowledge and opinions about: Teams Calendar vs Outlook Calendar - Will they become one? Email in Teams - Is it coming? These questions, and shades of, have been very common during our recent roll-out. I have my thoughts, but would love to know what the community, and of course the product team may have to say. Now that they have so much in Teams, the people want MORE26KViews0likes3CommentsOutlook "Share to TEAMS" cant find certain channels
The new "Share to TEAMS" is showing up for our users, and it is a great feature, but there are serious problems with the search within the app. We are able to search for users with no issue, but searching for a group or channel is rarely successful. I would guestimate that only 25% of my channels show up in the search. I have already verified that channels don't show up even if I am an owner of the group. And there is no way to search for a "General" channel. There are no results for us. Is this a problem with our environment, or a known issue with the feature? On a side note, I've always had trouble sharing thing from my phone to Teams if I'm looking for a "General" channel.25KViews3likes37CommentsModify Outlook invite links
Hi everyone, is it possible to modify any of the links in the Outlook invite for a Teams meeting? The "Learn more about Teams" link points to aka.ms/jointeamsmeeting which is an english page. A customer wants to change that to a german page. Thank you and best, Arif17KViews1like4CommentsTeams as default for Outlook calls
Hi, I already posted 10 other Teams questions but I have one more. For some users...when they go to their contact in Outlook and click on a number to dial, it opens Skype for Business to make the call and not Teams (the user is in Teams only and SFB is completely shut down). I did change the settings under default apps for SIP and calls and such, but it didn't help. One thing is some are on Outlook 1803/1809 and some are on 19xx Any ideas?16KViews1like8Comments
