Hello fellow members, I am currently facing an issue with the Microsoft Partner Center's account verification process, and I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered a similar problem or if there's a workaround that I might have missed. I have been trying to verify my account as guided by their official documentation (Verification Responses Guide). Here are the steps I followed: I went to Account Settings and clicked on the Legal Info, then clicked on the "Fix now" button as instructed. The next step mentions "In Account Verification, from Select document type to upload, select the type of document you want to upload for verification". This is where the problem lies. After Step 1, the "Account Verification" tab or option simply doesn't appear for me. It feels as though the process just halts there. I tried to find a way around it, assuming maybe it's a browser issue or some temporary glitch, but multiple attempts yielded the same result. Through different browsers, different computers at different times. I also raised support tickets regarding this matter, but unfortunately, I haven't received any concrete responses yet. They only keep directing me back to the same steps that are unresponsive. And this has been over a month now and I kinda get stuck. Has anyone here faced a similar challenge or has any insights on how I can proceed with this? I appreciate all the help and suggestions I can get. Thanks in advance!9.6KViews2likes15CommentsCSP Verification Issues Continue
Can someone please decipher the below and tell me what the verification team is actually asking for or what they mean by "the domain provided in your submission is insufficient for the requirements of our program"? Thank you for your Document Apologies for the inconvenience, However, the domain provided in your submission is insufficient for the requirements of our program. Can you send us a recent additional document that contains the domain and company name or a contact name as they appear on your account? we need additional document in which Domain and Entity Name or Partner Name is available, and the Documents submitted must have been issued within the previous 12 months. The fact that they're asking for additional documents showing the domain and entity name after saying the domain is insufficient for the requirements of the program is confusing. I've provided them with endless documents containing the information they ask for. Yet, they come back with the same generic response without explaining what else could be provided. At this stage, I'm deleting my organisation from the Microsoft Partner portal.Solved9.3KViews0likes26CommentsAccount verification
Hi I applied for a partner last week. but I received the following message and was rejected. 'Hello, Please provide additional documentation dated within the past 12 months to verify your domain information. Examples of verification documents are as follows: Domain registration/invoice or renewal that lists entity/username and domain as they are stated in your Profile. Thank you.' Accordingly, I submitted my domain registration card, but I received the same rejection. How can we solve this problem?3.5KViews0likes7CommentsDomain matching despite business verification rejection
Hello, I have been working with support in good faith after submitting a ticket request; they had asked me to submit proof of business name document and a domain registration document to verify that the domain I have on my profile matches the domain on the registration: " Dear Partner, Thank you for your inquiry about your Microsoft Partner Network account in Partner Center. We need more information from you to verify your Microsoft Partner Network account. To proceed with your request, and review your organization's status, please help us by emailing us the following documents. Please ensure that they are issued within the previous 12 months: Domain registration / Domain invoice at registration or renewal that lists Entity/Username and domain as it is stated on your account. Official business document, such as a business registration form, business charter, or articles of incorporation that lists Entity name and address as it is stated on your account. If not possible to provide additional documentation, please update your account information to match with documents already provided. List of supported file types and max. file size: screenshots (only from a source such as government) .pdf format Attachments larger than 8MB cannot be received by our system. Please advise if you are unable to provide smaller attachments. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations " When I submitted initially, they said that there were unable to open the PDF documents that were attached (first time this has ever happened to me): "Dear Partner, We were unable to open any of the documents you have provided. Would you kindly send the documents again in the right format. Here is the list of the file types and max.file size that we require. screenshots (only from a source such as government) .pdf format Attachments larger than 8MB cannot be received by our system. Please advise if you are unable to provide smaller attachments. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations" So I resubmitted the second time with screenshots showing that I have the PDF attached on my side and reattached the same PDFs as the last email. It appears that support then accepted the documents but sent this response: "Dear Partner, I am afraid that the provided document does not list the domain that appears on your Profile. If additional documentation containing this info is not available, please update your Profile to match the documents already provided. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations" I am confident that the domain name on my profile exactly matched what is provided on the document, since it appears support accepted the domain registration document that I provided. Please see what should be attached as a screenshot below, showing the domain match: Domain registration document: Profile: Again, I have and am continuing to work with them to resolve this, so how can I get this moving forward? If further requested, I can provide the ticket number as well.2.7KViews0likes13CommentsVerification for partner very difficult, no response from support at all
Hi, I'm an MSP, trying to get verified on Microsofts programs, to be able to support and supply my users through distributors. Unfortunately, this is where it ends, I did everything Microsoft asked me: Sign up as a partner Filled in the details Received a rejection, was asked to supply domain verification, supplied this Then now am denied as followed: "Your verification is rejected because of usage of restricted domain. Please update your email in Profile Info section with company domain address to get it verified." So, first I had to supply domain details, then, after this, now you're still rejecting this based on what? No proper feedback, neither is anyone replying to the tickets I've opened relating to this. Ticket #s: 2307250040004588 2307270040001544 2308050040001621 So, the deal is as followed: I'm registered as Dyk Media, and I do business as DykIT. So, my registration is showing Dyk Media in the CRO here in Ireland, and this is what I have explained in the documentation provided.. + I provided utility bill, but, again this is denied without any option to talk to someone, nor, being able to understand the denial. Why doesn't anyone read ticket, or, read the attached documentation. This is so frustrating, it almost makes you not want to deliver any MS products, and being able to supply users/companies, with the right support structures as an MSP. Mike ---- UPDATE: As my company name was slightly different, this was the cause of it not being accepted. Since adjusting this correctly, I resubmitted it, and it's now accepted and approved. I think this is beneficial information for others, as it really has to match up everything that is within your registered details.2.6KViews3likes12CommentsWe were unable to verify your Partner Center profile … but were unable to do so
After much back-and-forth (due to a mixture of unclear instructions, a name change and vague rejections) we just got the above message saying: "After several unsuccessful attempts to verify your information, we’ve ended the verification process. No further action will be taken on this profile verification." Which doesn't make a lot of sense—and it is unclear what is supposed to be the next step or appeal process for this? The last message under 'Legal Info' on the portal just reads "This application is insufficient for the requirements of the program." witout further explanation. This verification is essential for publicly launching our Outlook integration, and already is pushing back release schedules as is. Help would be much appreciated!Partner verification is totally broken & not fit for purpose.
The entire system is an utter shambles. Just look at the number of posts form partners worldwide who have been partners for years yet now can no longer get verified. I too have been a partner for over 20 years and I've been trying since October last year to get these issues fixed. Wasn't an issue until I signed up to the CSP program. I truly wish I hadn't bothered. I have been round and round and round. I have submitted every document under the sun. Articles of Incorporation, Certificate of Incorporation, Letter on headed paper, DUNS certificate, Bank Statements. I just constantly get back that "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I raise support tickets, I email, they don't read them properly, they just send a standard response back. You reply to the response email and then get an email back saying "Deleted Not Read" so they are clearly ignoring anyone's responses to their meaningless emails. The portal doesn't work properly, it displays conflicting information. The Fix Now buttons don't work. I get an email stating my CSP is verified but my MPN ID isn't. Then I check on the portal and it says both are unverified. So how can they send an email saying its verified and then the portal says it isn't? I email and ask, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" I ask them on email please be clear about what they want changing, they respond with "the documents do not match the information you entered for your account" They are like particularly dim robots. They haven't a clue, and they don't care. This is what happens when you outsource. Microsoft are happy to take your money but it seems they no longer want to have their small business partners. Why don't they just own up and say rather than getting rid of us all by wearing us down by this method? If they cared they would engage properly and have someone from the Team involved in this forum rather than poor Jill who is not part of the verification team and has to field all these postings. I am utterly tired of the whole thing and seriously just considering ditching the entire partner program. Who needs the constant stress and mental anguish!Solved1.8KViews10likes17CommentsIssues with Account Verification and Revoked Partner Status
Hello everyone, Since July 30th, I have been struggling to resolve an issue with account verification in Microsoft Partner Center and to restore my partner status. Here's a summary of the problem: In April, I successfully completed the verification process by submitting all the required documents to confirm my domain ownership. The documents met all the criteria, including the 12-month validity requirement. On July 30th, my developer status was revoked without any explanation. I have requested clarification several times, but each time I only received requests to resubmit the same documents I had already provided. I resubmitted the documents on August 8th, but I still haven't received any constructive response, just automated messages. Recently, I received a message saying that several attempts to verify my information were unsuccessful, and the process was closed. This could result in my relationship with Microsoft being terminated within 30 days. My team has spent a year learning the Graph API and developing our Outlook application, and now it seems we won’t be able to publish it due to unclear verification issues. Could someone please advise if there is a way to expedite the resolution of this problem? I have submitted all the required documents and met the necessary criteria, yet I continue to face rejections. Here are my support ticket numbers for reference: 2404250040003907 2409030040003632 2408210040001904 2409060040005012 I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on how to proceed. Hi All, its Edris from CirroCloud Solutions.... I have had the same issues for domain ownership verification for a while now and i have finally solved my issue in the following steps while starting from Scratch. Delete the partner accounts and clear up your partner center i have also gone ahead to delete my azure active directory tenant connected to my custom domain Starting from scratch, i created a Microsoft developer subscription and connected my custom domain to that tenant. i verified my domain and added DNS records for emails to point to office 365. Therefore my tenant was verified with Microsoft and had an azure active directory tenant. I then signed into the partner website using my azure tenant email address then started the procedure for becoming a Microsoft partner using that tenant. after going through the procedure and adding details for my company i landed on the page for legal info and was at the stage of email verification. i received the email and verified email and the verification stage verified the employment verification stage automatically as my domain was automatically detected by Microsoft. please note that Microsoft looks at the azure active directory therefore make sure the tenant name has your company name and the technical contact in azure and primary contact and security contact in the partner center match the ones in azure active directory. Copilot i think compares values in azure active directory and matches them with values in partner center to determine domain ownership after you have added domain records (MX,cNAME,TXT) into your cPanel (not so certain on this but just my thought). Then all i am left with is business verification where i just share my certificate of incorporation or company registration documents and that process would be done Please make sure you verify the domain and point your DNS records to Microsoft before signing up for the Microsoft partner program (something the support team doesn't mention which smoothens the verification process because no document submitted will ever be enough for verification as i think the the azure details matching your partner account details You can reach out on email address removed for privacy reasons if you need any further information or direct message1.4KViews2likes2Comments
