Should DP203 be retired considering the lab constraints with its replacement course (DP700)
Hi Mindy, Considering that DP203 is due to retire end of March, would it not be better to extend the retirement date due to the impact that we have with most of the DP6xx and DP700 labs. Those courses cannot be trained until the lab matter has been resolved and at the moment, we have no visibility as to when this could be resolved by. The DP203 at least allows us to engage with customers and refer to as a replacement for Fabric until the lab issues have been addressed by Microsoft. In some scenarios like ESI, we have a deadline by when the deliveries need to happen which is beyond end of March but before May. Hello TSPs, One of the recurring pieces of feedback we get are questions regarding the relationship between Applied Skills and Advanced Role-based (ARB) courseware. In October, we released a document titled Applied Skills and ARB Certs Suggested Guidance which aims to bridge that knowledge gap between the products. We'd like to get your input on the usefulness of that document and what ways we can alter and improve it (or create others) to best suit your needs. Please take a moment to complete this feedback survey. The survey includes both scale and free-form questions, and all results will go directly to the product team. You'll also find the document linked in the header of the survey for easy access. Thank you in advance for your time.112Views0likes0CommentsUpcoming Changes to Legacy Benefits Packages plus Copilot Licenses – Effective January 22, 2025
As originally announced last August by Julie Sanford, January 22, 2025 will bring changes to the availability of licenses and benefits packages in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program. Here are the high points: Copilot licenses will be added to select Solution Area benefits packages and to the Partner Success Expanded package. The Learning Action Pack (LAPs), Silver and Gold legacy benefits packages will no longer be available for purchase after January 22nd, 2025 Partners who wish to purchase a benefits package can choose from these new offerings: Partner Launch ($345 USD) Partner Success Core ($895 USD) Partner Success Expanded ($3,995 USD) What this means for you: If you are in your legacy benefits renewal window, now through January 22, you can renew your LAPs, silver, or gold package. These benefits will remain active for 1 year from purchase. Partners can only renew these packages in their renewal window (anniversary date + 30 days) and not before. If you are not in your legacy benefits renewal window, at your first renewal after January 22 you can choose to forgo any licensing benefits or purchase one of the benefits packages listed above. You will maintain your previously purchased legacy benefits package until this renewal date (they do not suddenly disappear after January 22). If you are qualified for a Solutions Area badge and benefits (as defined by Partner Center performance data), but have been waiting to complete the purchase due to an existing silver or gold benefits package, you can elect to make the Solution Area purchase at the conclusion of your legacy benefits year (or before). Benefits packages are not required to participate in the Training Services Partner ecosystem and do not impact your ability to deliver official Microsoft training. LAPs is no longer a requirement to enter / remain in the Training Services Partner ecosystem. No matter where you are in your legacy renewal window you can still purchase the three new benefits packages above at any time. They are stackable (one of each) and are independent of legacy benefits packages. Please let me know if you have any questions.501Views1like0CommentsNew Training Services Partner Onboarding Update
Hello new TSPs. We are currently updating the onboarding process to provide better communications around process and timing. While we work to update, please send me a private message if you have completed the onboarding form and you are currently waiting on a response. I anticipate this workaround to last for a few weeks and for us to have a new process in place in January. Once the update is complete and the normal process resumes, I will delete this thread. Thanks, Dan266Views4likes0CommentsOctober CC Technical Issues and Option 2 Call Cancelation
Hello partners, I want to ensure you see the latest update I made to the Community Call thread here. Yes, there was an access issue to the Option 1 call today that was discovered only after the call started. As the Option 2 call is built the same way, I expect a similar result. Due to this, we won't be hosting an Option 2 call today. Link to the shared folder and associated files (recording, deck) are at the link referenced above. Apologies for the late cancel and the confusion this month. We'll look to get right on our next call, Wednesday, December 4th.
