Project for web generic resources not bookable
Hi, on Project for Web i've created some generic resources as you can see: Each of it with a hours calendar and bookable. Then i've added each resource in its own plan, for example: Pianificazione UDVC is my plan with my generic reource "Generica UDVC" The issue is that if i try to assign a task i can only find "Member of team x" instead of "Generica UDVC" , why that name instead of the name that i wrote? Also in some other plan i can't see any new bookable resource despite i can see the generic one from the "team" tab in Project admin portal. Why? Thanks!
End dates of Subtask are appearing wrong
Hi there, I'm facing issue with import of xml file. When I import the file, Finish date of task having subtask, gets disturb. I am attaching the screenshot from xml file indicating the dates that I have set in it Heres the screenshot from Microsoft Project when I import the xml file After going through multiple solution, I found one of them partially working which suggested that i should turn off project calculation after each edit After applying this setting and re-loading the xml, Finish date of parent task appear corrected but for its subtasks which has duration greater than one, it still appears wrong Can someone please suggest me a solution for this ?
Disabling Posting of the Task Conversations
hello Community! I am using Microsoft Project Planner 3 connected to Teams Channel. I am the Owner of the Teams Channel. I noticed that everytime, when someone starts a Task conversation on a task level, their conversaion gets posted in the channel as a Post. I really wish avoiding it, as the Posts are meant only for major announcements in our project. With all tasks conversations published as Posts, it gets cluttered. I wish tasks converstaions not appear in Posts. I disabled the postig feature to Channel Owners only, and unfortuantely it disabled the tasks conversations to non-Owners too. I do recall just a year ago, Task Conversations and Posts were not connected features. Please advise, if it is possible to enable the task assignees to use task conversation feature without task conversations being published as Posts?
