Hi Microsoft, Besides the discussion on the price increase itself: November 2024 announcements - Partner Center announcements | Microsoft Learn I'm wondering how this "standardizing the billing structure" works for triannual subscriptions. The post only states that Annual subscriptions with Monthly payment term will undergo a +5% price increase. But how will this affect multi-year subscriptions? Eg. We have exciting news! The New Commerce Experience (NCE) now supports the ability to acquire toll-free numbers for Microsoft Teams. Previously, customers would need to subscribe to Communication Credits to be able to acquire toll-free numbers for Audio Conferencing, auto attendant and call queue capabilities available with Microsoft Teams Phone. The requirement for Communication Credits had blocked customers on NCE from acquiring toll-free numbers. Please see the following guidance on how to acquire toll-free numbers on NCE. For customers who are moving from legacy (Communication Credits) to NCE or have already moved from legacy to NCE, partners will need to follow the steps below to ensure pay-as-you-go for toll-free numbers is set up correctly: Confirm that pay-as-you-go has been set up for the customer’s subscription: New commerce telco pay-as-you-go - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn Buy a pay-as-you-go calling plan for your Microsoft Teams subscription | Microsoft Learn Disable “Auto-recharge” for Communication Credits (if currently or previously on legacy) If the Communications Credit balance is zero, and telco pay-as-you-go has been configured for the customer by the CSP, then the commerce system will automatically move the customer to postpaid and the new meter will be validated. If the customer has a positive balance for Communications Credits, the commerce tool will be able to automatically identify this, and the remaining Communication Credits will be used for billing until the remaining balance is drained. Important note: Most customers have the “Auto-recharge” flag enabled within their account which will automatically refill their Communications Credit balance to whatever threshold level they configured it. You will need to disable this option if they wish to utilize the consumption meter; otherwise, the Communications Credit balance will indefinitely refill itself and the commerce system won't switch to the post-pay mechanism. Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, currently having a "Legacy Gold Benefits" membership status expiring on early April 2024. Following few Inspire 2023 sessions around the extension of Legacy benefits, we would like to ask you if there are any official announcement that we will be able to renew our Legacy Gold benefits for at least one more year, prior switching to Specialization. Is there a way to confirm if a new client currently has legacy or NCE subscriptions in their admin portal by viewing the "Your Products" page or some other page? I know that the subscription ID is given in the address bar when you click on each product. I also know that renewal and billing information is provided when you click on each product. Hi Community, We are an Indirect Provider and we need to clarify our options regarding Extended Security Updates through the CSP channel. Even though I have not found an official Microsoft announcement on this, this blog article refers that and i quote "Starting September 2023, Microsoft will offer the Extended Security Updates for Windows Server 2012/2012R2 as well as SQL Server 2012 as a month-by-month Pay-as-you-Go option. Customers will need to enroll their applicable servers in Azure Arc and do need to have an Azure subscription as a payment mechanism (this can be an Azure subscription through a Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Partner). With this new option, Extended Security Updates finally come into reach of SMB customers. For pricing, aim at 75% of the license price per year, divided by 12 for a rough indication of the monthly price. Exact pricing will be published in September on the Azure website". Hi I've been evaluating the minimal roles required for GDAP relationships so we can help customers with issues regarding to locked tenants. Based on this FAQ the role privileged authentication administrator is required to unlock accounts, however if a customer has messed up conditional access at the tenant level, this role isn't sufficient. A tenant-internal account needs at least the role conditional access administrator to gain access to that part and have the possibility of fixing or disabling erroneously configured rules (I've tested that). However the same privileges are given to a partner technician, they can't access that part of Entra Admin, nor the AAD Admin UI. I've tested this a couple of times with different users from the CSP / partner side, however no luck yet. Any Ideas where I could poke further? (I'd like to avoid simply requesting global admin to all our customers, that's the main point) Looking forward to some inputs or ideasCSP | Legacy Migration SKU to NCE
Hi all, Following the recent announcement on the Microsoft-led legacy migration starting January 2024, we as an Indirect Provider would like to ask this: If a subscription is on a legacy SKU that has no migration path to NCE, how Microsoft's automated mechanism will react and what NCE SKU will choose?
