Looking for meetups for Brian Levine from Finchloom while attending Ignite in Chicago NOV 2024
Hello, Americas partners! We are sending our Senior Partner Brian Levine to Ignite this year in Chicago in November 2024 to represent Finchloom - a 100% Microsoft Only partner based in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for ideas to partner with another firm to grow our business. It has to be complimentary so we can help each other. We do Azure Infrastructure, Modern Work (Including), and Security. And our focus is on Design/Deploy, Manage/Support, and Train/Adopt with commercial customers in the USA sized 50-5000. We are DIRECT CSP. Some of the things we are thinking about: * MORE CSP - we are Direct CSP and Experts and we can handle more! are you just a sales team and you need a provisioning partner? we have an affiliate program and we do the billing and support and the heavy lifting. you just sell it. * VMWare to Azure - Do you have a lot of customers who have VMWare and are looking for a way to move it to Azure so they don't have to buy more hardware? * SECURITY - partnering with a company who has a lot of Crowdstrike (or other EDR) customers that need help changing to Defender XDR and Sentinel SIEM * COPILOT ADOPTION - looking for a company who needs help getting users to adopt Copilot company-wide with proven adoption strategies using science and human psychology that want to use M365 Copilot to improve department process and knowledge and upskill employees (employee transformation) If you have any of those needs, let's get a meeting setup with Brian Levine while you are at Ignite so you can explore the possibilities! Thanks! jim98Views2likes0CommentsMicrosoft Partner Center access issues with CSP benefits
We are an existing CSP Indirect gold partner. We renewed our membership 2 months ago. Just recently after logging into Partner Center I noticed I no longer have Membership benefits and it appears under my profile that we are no longer registered as a CSP. No Earnings show... etc. MS Support provided the following to my support request: Microsoft runs on trust, and therefore we engage in a rigorous set of evaluation and certification processes across third party individuals and organizations. As a result of our internal processes, we are unable to reactivate your access. Please note that this decision cannot be changed by opening a new support case. So what is this and how do I resolve this? There needs to be a group that I can reach out to find out what the problem is?126Views0likes0CommentsHow to Change Country in Developer Legal Info
We discovered a former employee accidentally entered incorrect company address info into the Developer section of Legal Info in our Microsoft partner portal. We tried changing it, but Microsoft won’t allow us to save our US address because it thinks we’re in the UK. The Developer section does not allow you to change the country. I followed all steps offered by Copilot (as indicated in Microsoft KB) by submitting official business documents, even our federal DUNS information, but Microsoft kept denying us even though we used the same info to get verified as a Partner. Now they said we’ve run out of attempts and we’re stuck. Does anyone know how to fix this or who we can contact to get help from a real person?93Views0likes0CommentsJoin Jason Jones and Microsoft for ATLANTA IAMCP event! You don't want to miss it 10/18

I've gone through all the steps to create a new containerized product, and am listing it as an AKS Extensions in the Azure Marketplace. I followed this guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/marketplace-offers/azure-container-technical-assets-kubernetes?tabs=windows%2Clinux2 I added an alternate account as a "preview" audience, and everything seems to be working, except anytime I try to put in an "extensionResourceName" the deployment fails, and shows an error about how that name is unavailable. From my reading, I seems that my container product will be issued an extensionResourceName when it's published, but I haven't published yet... it's in preview mode for selected members only. Where and how can I find an appropriate extensionServiceName to test with?99Views0likes0CommentsLet's talk SecOps in Dallas or Virtually, September 26
You're invited to join us in-person or virtually on September 26! IAMCP's TOLA Chapter (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) rotates monthly and hosts chapter meetings in Austin, Houston and Dallas. All meetings are hybrid and anyone is welcome to attend, no matter where you are! Please join us for this month's TOLA chapter meeting at Microsoft Dallas or on Teams on Thursday, September 26, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Our guest speaker will be Spencer Brown, Global Engineering, SecOps, from Sophos. Security Operations (SecOps) teams are responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and context-aware detection and response of cyber threats. During this session, you'll hear why Microsoft data must be a key source of alerts and telemetry for SecOps teams. Such data, however, needs to be analyzed in the wider context of other tools the organization uses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Partnering with Sophos to address this challenge helps Microsoft Channel Partners support their customers, complement existing Microsoft implementations, and increase revenue. Lunch will be included. Join us online or in-person (lunch included) in Dallas at the Microsoft office. If you aren't a member of IAMCP yet, you can join for just $1 and gain access to all IAMCP events for 90 days.
