Can't remove Viva Insights Outlook Add-on
I've turned on Viva Insights in Teams and have even tied our SharePoint Intranet to it. But every email message in Outlook, whether classic or new, has a Viva Insights button in the button bar - and I'd like to remove it. In fact, I don't even see where I added it. It's not selected in the M365 console. I can't remove it in the Manage Apps area in Outlook - and if I edit the button bar - it comes back again. On initial load of advanced insights (i.e. going to https://workplaceanalytics.office.com/) as per Viva Insights setup | Microsoft Docs .... we wait for it to "do its thing" and then get to the provisioning page as per below. We happened to execute this in two tenants yesterday, more or less in parallel. In one tenant, the provisioning was minutes (not sure how long, but let's say well under 30 min). In the other tenant, we are still waiting. Screenshot below is after +24h. Obviously have tried to clear various caches, login with another insights admin account, etc. Has anyone else experienced a delay like this? What did you do to resolve it? Just wait, or did you need someone from support to go kick a virtual rack in the cloud? Thanks for sharing any tips or shared pains. Hi everyone, I'm running into an odd error when uploading organizational data, so I thought I'd reach out to this community to see if anyone has run into this issue before, or has any ideas how to resolve it. Highlighted in the screenshot below, I've been working with an organization to re-structure their org data file to support a very specific use case, but when we uploaded a new organizational data file, we were met with the following error: "An error occurred during processing. The cause is being investigated. When the error is resolved, this message will update accordingly." What's odd is that it's been sitting like this for just over 24 hours, and there is no error log to investigate or download. Even more frustrating, we can't initiate a new upload. Hi Folks, Would like some help with two rookie questions. (a) We are trying out a pilot group wherein we uploaded org data for a group of 20 employees including team members , team leaders/managers etc. However the number of measured employees on WPA is showing 120 people, 63 internal collaborates & 10,000+ external collaborators. Could anyone help me out with why such a huge discrepancy could take place? (b) Could we assign a manager's role as well as the leaders role to the same person while trying out this pilot study? Does Viva Insights take into account information related to the geolocation of people who use outlook or teams? Does Viva Insights take into account information related to the device of people who use outlook or teams? (For example, if the activity carried out by a certain employee has been carried out from a mobile device or a computer? If so, is information obtained that allows identifying the specific device from which the activity is carried out (for example, if IMEI or IP address is registered) It has been indicated that, among the data to be processed from team meetings, is the “status” of the participants. What does it mean? Is it available/absent/busy or other? Is this information only about participants who are inside meetings? Or also as long as they have the application turned on? Regarding instant messages that are monitored through Viva Insights: is only the sender and the time of the first delivery monitored? or something else? Can the number of emails needed to close a message thread be tracked? Hello, we have completed the configuration of Workplace Analytics (licenses, roles, settings and org data upload). The Org data upload and verification have been completed successfully. Currently, from WPA level we can see only Data sources, Leader & Manger Settings and Analyst Settings. What should we do to access (see) the Home tab with reports, Analyse tab and Plans tab? Dear all, In my company we started adopting viva insights and WPA lately. I was assigned roles as: Analyst, Analyst Limited, Program manager from enterprise application and Business Leader and Insights Admin from AAD. The thing is that i am not able to see in Viva Insights app in teams "My Team" and "My Organization" tabs as i should and if i try to access WPA through https://workplaceanalytics.office.com/en-us/ it goes in error. Hi, I am hoping my query makes sense so here goes: If we license 1 user with Viva Insights, would this allow the tracking of open rates for every internal recipient of mails from this account? Or is it that have to license all of the recipient accounts to allow email open rate tracking? As an example - we want to provide our comms team a licence to allow them to track institutional open rates for their marketing mails from a single email address. Do we really have to provide a Viva licence for all members of the whole institution for the comms team to track the open rates for this one account? Hello, in our orgnization we want to try and get some experience with Viva insights. Unfortunatly we are unable to make it working even if we are following the setup guide. We have: - assigned the licenses (20 over 25) and we did it some days ago. - assigned the roles to at least two users - completed all the steps in the setup wizard on the portal Anyway the two users with roles are still unable to access both advanced insights page (https://analysis.insights.viva.office.com/ ) and the Home tab like showed in the following page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/insights/org-team-insights/org-insights#the-home-tab About the https://analysis.insights.viva.office.com/ page We are getting the "Oops! You haven't been assigned a role in Viva Insights yet." About the https://viva.cloud.microsoft/insights page we get a 404 page. https://viva.cloud.microsoft/ can be accessed by all the users, and if we click on Inisghts, we are all able to see our own statitics. I checked all the documents I found and some forum topics, but it seems who had this problem never solder or at least never shared the solution.
