Migrate VMs to Azure (Stack HCI)
Hi. I know this is a bit out of scope, but since Azure Stack HCI is still under the Azure programme, I ask it anyways. Would it be possible to extend the functionality of Azure Migrate to use an Azure Stack HCI cluster as destination for the VMs to migrate? Thanks and regards, Anders
Azure Migrate - maintain the same IP of the source virtual machines
Hello everyone, i'm testing Azure Migrate features with my test Lab in VMware. I would maintain the same IP of the source virtual machines (of course i have the same address space in the target VNET in Azure) but when the virtual machines is replicated Azure assign always the first free IP of the subnet in DHCP. Is there any option when i configure the migration? Thanks a lot Davide
Invalid Storage Account
I’m trying to migrate a Resource Group across subscriptions but one VM in particular throws up this error The Move Resources request contains VMs which are associated with invalid storage accounts. Please check details for these resource ids and referenced storage account names. (Code: MoveResourcesHaveInvalidState, Target: Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines) Storage Account 'storageaccountname' either does not exist or is in an invalid state. (Code: MoveResourcesHaveInvalidState, Target: /subscriptions/subscriptionID/resourceGroups/RGName/providers/Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines/ The referenced storage account does not exist and I have cycled the options on the boot diagnostic storage account to no avail
Azure AD Connect & WVD
Hey all Im setting up WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop) for a client. From what ive read on docs i either need Azure AD Connect (with my on premise enviorment) or Azure AD Domain Services. Im going with the first one Azure AD Connect. I have synced over users in a demo enviroment and it worked out fine. But when it comes to adding a host pool to WVD it asks me to write "AD Domain join UPN" I'm a bit confused rather they ask me for my global admin account in Office365, or AD Administrator Account onpremise? Or maybe even if they should be synced (merged) as one account? Help is appreciated, Thanks!Start your move to Azure with Azure Migrate

The service allows you to discover virtual machines in your on-premises environment running in VMWare and provides guidance and insights to help you move to those VMs running your applications to Azure.
