Class notebook notifications
Hello, i would like to know if there is a way that teachers can know if a student has made changes in his/her student notebook? or do i have to look into all the 20+ students of my 6 classes? Thank you. João CalaimSolvedjoaocalaimApr 20, 2020Copper Contributor7.5KViews0likes3CommentsRemoving students from Team created class notebooks
Here's an interesting one: When a new student is added to a Team, they also arrive in class notebook. But when they are removed from the Team, they remain in the notebook. When you go to 'add or remove students' via the desktop add-in, the notebook concerned isn't in the available list. Is it just us or has anyone else found this? What's the correct procedure to delete a Class Notebook that's been created via a Team and how can I view where they are stored? I've deleted the team that has the class notebook in but i'm still seeing the notebook listed under Office 365->Class Notebook->Manage Notebook under the co-owned notebooks. Also what's the correct way to add\remove students and teachers to Class notebook created in Teams, are we supposed to do this in Teams rather than Onenote? Hi I am an IT administrator at a large (by Norwegian standards) secondary school in Norway. One of the teachers here used OneNote Class Notebook (ONCN) last year. Now she wants to move the students up from year 8 to 9. The problem is that in our administrative system the groups have changed names and when she tries to add students/change the group it is not possible because the group name doesn't exist and the only option is to delete all content before adding a new group. If a teacher wants to use the same Notebook for more than one year, is it it smart to add students one by one, or is there a way to export old content, delete the Notebook and import it into a new one?SolvedEgil BjørnevollSep 14, 2017Copper Contributor1.5KViews0likes2CommentsOne Note App or Desktop?
Should we now be encouraging teachers to use the One Note App as opposed to One Note 2016? It seems that new developments (eg: equations inking) are hitting the App before the desktop, and it made me wonder whether developments will in future target the app, and the 2016 version will be sidelined. (I also notice that in Teams notebook, the options to edit are 'in browser' or 'onenote' which is the app). This would present a problem for us as we have disabled the app from staff laptops owing to sign in problems that happened when the app was default. Microsoft have some previous on this- we only found out by chance that Office Professional Plus 2016 wasn't getting new features, and the whole school had to go over to 'Office 365 Proplus 2016'.SolvedJohn GoodhindAug 20, 2017Iron Contributor4.3KViews1like4CommentsTeacher only space
It would be a good idea in future releases of Classnotebook to have the Teacher Only space as one of the default section groups without having to activate it. I am training staff to use class notebooks at the heart of their 'E' operation in their classes, and it is very challenging for most- activiating the teacher only space through Manage Notebooks seems to me an unnecessary complication.SolvedJohn GoodhindFeb 18, 2017Iron Contributor21KViews4likes34CommentsClass Notebook and Classroom
Hi all, I have started using MS Classroom, and the Class Notebooks created from within the Clasroom app. When I open the Notebook in OneNote and try using the Class Notebook tools, the classes are not listed and so cannot be used with the add in. I love the power of the desktop tools, and can't always rely on the online version which is nowhere near as powerful. Does anyone have the same issue, or a way of dealing with this issue?SolvedNick MajorFeb 08, 2017Copper Contributor1.8KViews0likes4CommentsMove Onenote Classroom from one teachers OneDrive to another teachers OneDrive
Hi Is it possibel to move a OneNote Classroom from one Onedrive to another? When a teacher is taking over at class, it would be nice if the OneNote Classroom-files could be moved as well, especially if the old teacher have chosen to stop at the school.
