Siri/iOS Shortcuts suddenly cannot create To Do tasks
I have one Siri/iOS shortcut that I use all day long to capture my thoughts and tasks. At the end, it takes input to the shortcut and creates a To Do task. It has worked for months and months but, suddenly, starting yesterday, I'm getting errors like "Could not run Add Task - There was a problem communicating with the app." Any ideas? I've tried creating new shortcuts, I tried creating a shortcut from To Do (in the settings) - all attempts fail. I really rely on this, and need it to work again! Thanks for any ideas...
Steps initially show only first line of text
Currently and for the past year+ on Microsoft To Do Web, after selecting any List, the initial view of the Steps within a Task, only shows the first line of text in each Step. If I select a different Task within the same List and then reselect the original Task, the Steps within display all of the lines of wrapped text. This occurs using both MS Edge and Google Chrome. I rebuild my computer from a new Windows 11 ISO after stripping my SSD to zero partitions last week and this is still a problem. It would be really great if we could get this fixed.
YEARS later and still no multiple users for mac users
I am so frustrated that I can have multiple accounts on to do list so I can keep my work and personal lists separate. There are more Mac users worldwide than any other devices, and still, Microsoft will not give us access to the full integration. We shouldn't have to access two lists on app-based and the other web-based. PLEASE, can we just give us access to use your programs to their full extent?
Feature parity between Web and Desktop/Mobile TODO (Categories)
It looks like there isn't feature parity between the Web version of To Do and the Desktop/Mobile apps. Specifically, the web version has access to and displays UI components that allow us to select Categories to assign to our To Do items, yet this ability does not exist on the Desktop/Mobile Apps. Furthermore the display of assigned categories to Items created on the Web interface is not consistent on the Desktop/Mobile apps. The Desktop will show the category assigned to the item (but does not allow modification), however the Mobile App does not indicate any category assignment at all. Can we please get a feature parity w.r.t Categories between the Web, Mobile, and Desktop app of To Do ? Thank you.
Missing Categories in Microsoft To Do Apps: Any Updates?
Hello everyone, I've been using the Microsoft To Do app and wanted to discuss an issue regarding the category/tag functionality in task lists. Recently, Microsoft introduced an update allowing the addition of customizable tags to each task within a list. I have successfully configured and assigned these categories via the web interface using a browser. However, I noticed that the categories/tags assigned through the web do not appear in the Microsoft To Do apps for Android, iOS, and Microsoft Store. This makes it challenging to find specific tasks when using these apps. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there any update on when this functionality will be synchronized with the mobile and Microsoft Store apps? Thanks in advance for your help!
To-Do in Apple Watch desynced
Hi, The To-Do app for Apple Watch is not working properly. It's always desynced (showing as pending various tasks from few days ago, and other similar issues). If I let the app open in the Watch, it resyncs but not completely: some tasks keeps bad. Tried uninstalling and re-enabling To Do in the Watch, but then it synchronizes correctly only for a few hours. In iOS, the app works fine. No energy-save mode active. Hello Community I am using Make to create ToDo items. It works great and items are created according to the required logic. However, I am not getting any notifications when items are created in that way. The items are inserted into a shared list. No issues if an item is created by other list members, getting a notification straight away. Using Android 14 on Pixel 5. ToDo version - 2.139.930.00 Build #382 Cheers!
MS To Do: Recurring Task Steps show Complete
When a recurring task with multiple steps is completed, the steps in the new version of the task often retain the same state as when it was last completed. For example, if a task has five steps and three are marked as complete before marking the task as complete, the next day, when the task recurs, those three steps remain marked as completed. The volume for Microsoft To Do regularly resets to the maximum level, despite a daily ritual of setting it to around 25% every morning. This is annoying, as I usually start up my home office earlier than the rest of the household. Typical day: Open To Do; Check off the first item; Completion bell rings throughout the house; Open the toolbar volume control; Open volume mixer; Reduce the volume of To Do. Next day: repeat. Hello, I used to have ~100 tasks in my To-Do application these days. As of yesterday, they have been reduced to ~50. Multiple tasks disappeared from various lists (the lists are all intact). I rely on To-Do a lot and that's why I have it on 2 Windows PCs, 3 iOS devices and 1 Android. All are synced to the ~50 baseline, which as of yesterday, since to be my as-is in Microsoft's servers. All 6 applications (in all 3 different platforms), are on To-Do version 2.55 (latest one as we speak today). Of course I have uninstalled/re-installed, log-out/in, and changed passwords to my Office 365 account several times, with no effect. When I visited the web app, to check the situation, my tasks were not deleted (i.e. reduced from ~100 to ~50), but I noticed, that these ~100 tasks, were not exactly my latest update (i.e. I have seen tasks here and there that I have recently closed, or changed that were not reflected in the web app). But at least the heavy reduction from ~100 to ~50 was not done (some hope there). But when I signed out and signed it again (always in the web app), then I saw all these tasks disappearing from here as well. So now, all 6 apps (Windows, iOS and Android), plus the web app, are ALL SYNCHORNIZED to this ~50 tasks baseline, which as of yesterday, seems to be my new as-is in Microsoft's servers. The disappeared messages are not in deleted tasks folder of Office365/Outlook, etc. They are totally gone. Can anyone support me, or suggest something to me ? Hello, I want to use Microsoft ToDo in my Outlook App, but it is extremely slow an laggy. Switching between "My Day" and "Tasks" Section takes several seconds. Once it loads the task, scrolling down the Tasks takes also several seconds. It is unusable for me. The web version is a little bit faster, but still slow. Sometimes the browser is not responding anymore. Anyone else experiencing this issues? Any solutions? Thanks and best regards MichaelTo Do Tasks not Showing in Outlook Calendar
I am in a two person office, and we are using To Do for task management. My partner is having an odd problem. She has logged into our desktop Microsoft office suite and into To Do using the same microsoft credentials; we can see the task list from To Do from within her Outlook at the Tasks Tab;, but the tasks are not showing up in the Task Window we opened her calendar. Mine works fine. The tasks we are trying to popoulate are in a To Do tasklist that we share between us.
Sync with Outlook Calendar
Greetings, I’m using an iPad 10th gen with Outlook for iOS. What I want to know is if its possible to sync To Do tasks that were assigned to me in My Day. I seem to do everything that I need but I cant manage to see them in my calendar. We are using this system to make a big pool of tasks that we need to do around the shops and sometimes when our regular duties are done, we could pick some tasks in the pool, assign them to the correct workers and then it would appear in their calendar so other people can see that they are already doing something in the Day. I’m sorry if its hard to understand as I’m not a native English speaker. My first language is french so dont hesitate to ask for more information if you need some. Thank you and have a good day.
Outlook: Tasks of Exchange account not showing in To-Do List
Good Day, I got forwarded to this community and hope to find some help here. I'm having an issue with a single user (I'm an administrator in our organisation) where in Outlook, the tasks listed in the user's own Exchange account don't seem to show up in the To-Do List (in Outlook). The ones the user created within their private Hotmail account which they've added in Outlook appear without any issues. Affected seem to be only the ones the user created within the Exchange account. In the filter settings of the To-Do List (View > View Settings > Filter), there does not seem to be any filter active that may be filtering out the tasks from the Exchange account. We are using Exchange On-Prem and standalone Office (Office 2019, Office 2021, etc.), although the Office version doesn't seem to make a difference, as adding the affected user's Exchange account to my Office/Microsoft 365 installation seems to have the same effect. In Microsoft Admin Center, the user has the respective license (A1) to use To-Do (Plan 2) and the To-Do function is active for the user. I don't know where else to look and some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Best Regards, Lukas
